Chapter VII

It's December 1st, 2020. The weather outside was cold and windy, but it was the best time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone was happy. The kids were outside playing in the snow, the elderly were inside beside the fireplaces.

Y/n and Corpse still weren't dating, however, they both wanted to, it was simply a matter of time until one of them would decide to ask the other person out.

If you were wondering Dave and Y/n broke up 2 months ago and now she was living in the apartment by herself.

So now what? You may ask
What's next for them? When will the two finally be a couple? Well...

"So do you have any plans for today?"
Asked Corpse

"No, not really, maybe edit a video I don't know."
answered Y/n

"I was going to take you out, but since you are busy..."
Said Corpse in a joking manner

"Oh, so that's what it's about, in that case, count me free for today."
Replied Y/n

"So at what time do you want to go?"
Corpse asked

"I don't know, maybe at 6?'
Answered Y/n

"Okay good!"

"But wait, where are we going?"
Asked Y/n in a laugh

"It's a secret."

"Darn, oh well, if you say so."

Don't get fooled by the flirtation on Corpse's end, he's actually worried that he's going to mess something up, say something weird, or even worse, somehow drive Y/n away.

Y/n on the other hand was still having a hard time coping with her breakup. Yeah sure she didn't love him anymore and it happened months ago, but she still gets tons of hate for "cheating" on her toxic abusive cheating Ex Boyfriend.

So long story short they were both very stressed, but both wanted to make it work, they really did. But who was going to make the first move? I don't have an answer to that...

It was now 5.30 p.m and Y/n was ready. She had her hair curled into really nice waves, she had on a hoodie, back ripped jeans, and a pair of converse. Since she got ready early she decided to play with her cat, Buddy. Buddy however didn't enjoy cuddles and he would always try to break free from her grip.

After 20 minutes or so Corpse called to let her know that he was there and ready to pick her up.

"Hi, corpse!"
Said Y/n waving at him

"Hi, Y/n! I got you flowers!"

"Oh my! You really didn't have to do that, that's very kind of you! Thank you so much!"
Y/n smiled down at the flowers then she looked up at Corpse and her smile grew

"Hold on, I have to place these in water, be right back!"
Said Y/n rushing up to her apartment.

A few minutes later she got back and got into his car

"So, where are you taking me?"
Asked Y/n

"Have more patience, please?"
Said Corpse laughing

About 10 minutes later they both arrived at an apartment building, however, this wasn't Corpses apartment... Strange

Y/n looked up at Corpse as he got out of his car. She had the look of confusion painted on her face

"Corpse, where are we?"

"You will see, just follow me."

Y/n and Corpse walked up to the third floor. Corpse got the keys from his pocket and unlocked the for apartment numb 3. Once inside Y/n noticed the emptiness of the room and the plainness of the walls.

"Y/n, I want to ask you something very important. I love you, a lot. And I really want to be with you. I'm asking you to leave your apartment and come live here, with me, as my girlfriend."

"Corpse, I really really don't know what to say other than yes!"

The two hugged and then shared a kiss
