Both main protagonists given a tailsman which turn into swords both protagonists ( optimus prime and Don) were corrupted by the self proclaimed gods/creators of each race both gods were injured Qintessa shot by Bumblebee yet survived Valnos slashed by U-Raptor later killed by Leo using light fire light aether dragon blast both gods attempted to restore the dying races ( Qintessa -the cybertrons Valnos- the dragon turtles) both historical heroes given the staff both descendants are a descendants of the historic heroes
