"The joy of being a speedster. You could eat for hours and not get fat." Barry said happily as he flipped the pancake in the air. "Oh, don't tell me you disagree Kara."

"Of course not! You know I love eating." She replied, offended. "I ate three whole donuts yesterday."

"Oh please, I had six." Barry boasted.

Kara opened her mouth but quickly shut it again and instead glared at him.

Barry glanced at his girlfriend who had resorted to pouting like a puppy. "Aww don't be mad at me Miss Kara Zor-el."

Kara crossed her arms and turned her back on him just choosing to play along with the game they had started, but also to stir him up a bit. Barry slipped the pancake on a plate before turning and approaching from behind, placing his hands on her hips.

"You want ice-cream?" He whispered leaning down and kissing her neck.

Kara let out a soft hum before nodding. "Ice cream is life, Barry." She murmured back with a small smile.

"Of course it is." Barry uttered softly.

The Scarlet Speedster immediately speed dressed the both them before he could possibly say 'back in a flash.'

"Want me to go get them? It's quicker."

"No, why don't we just have a nice slow walk and relax for once. You've been doing so much running around. Every hero needs a rest every now and then." Kara wisely spoke as she kissed the speedster, grabbing his hand gently and leading him towards the door.

Barry just sighed in defeat and smiled softly. "Alright, fine." He replied.

The Kryptonian grinned wildly but in a very adorable way and giggled excitedly as she re-adjusted her glasses out of habit.

The speedster smiled, pushing her towards the door."Come on, let's go get that ice cream."

"Hope, help and a passion for ice cream!" Kara announced proudly and laughed before walking out of the door.

Barry just shook his head and chuckled as he followed after her.
