"I got the flour and eggs." You said as you walked into the kitchen. "But I'm not sure why we need fake bugs." You added making a disgusted face.

Amaya just laughed softly and took the ingredients from you and placed them on the table top along with the various other foods and items she had spread out across the table.

"You afraid of bugs?" She asked, giving you a cheeky sideways smirk with a raised eyebrow.

"No... pff, of course not!" You said with a slightly nervous chuckle.

The dark and curly-haired girl lightly touched the totem around her neck and the form of a spider appeared. Amaya teasingly scattered her fingers around your neck and sides causing you to squeal and jump away.

"Eek! Stop it!" You squealed, trying your best to glare at her but ended up just giggling.

"Oh you goof." She chuckled softly as she wrapped her arm around your waist pulling you closer to her.

You gazed into her eyes, happily leaning into her embrace. "I love you Amaya." You murmured gently.

"I love you too Y/N." Amaya replied sweetly before she pulled away and turned back to the ingredients on the table. "Now, time to make that cake!" She said enthusiastically.

You stuck close to her side, watching as she began to add the ingredients and mix them together. You really should be helping but just admiring Amaya as she worked was always one of your favourite things to do.

"What do you think you're waiting for Y/N fill free to jump in anytime." Amaya said with a soft grin as she nudged you gently.

"Oh right, sorry." You quickly say as you grab other ingredients—while avoiding the bugs of course—and dropped them into a seperate large bowl.

After some time you soon found yourself curled up on the couch, Amaya by your side with her arm draped over your shoulders.

"Enjoy the spider cake?" She asked with a small chuckle.

You lean forward to put down the empty cake plate before shifting your gaze to the girl sitting beside you. "Very much so, thank you."

Amaya pulled one of the fake spiders that had sat on top of the cake and showed it on her open palm causing you to jump at the sight of the six legged creature.

"Still haven't overcome your fear of plastic creepy crawlies." Amaya teased.

"Shut up." You muttered as you breathed a sigh of relief once she stuffed it away.

She wrapped her arms around you and giggled softly. "Tell me you love me."

"Never thought that was in doubt." You replied, raising a single eyebrow but still leaning into her loving embrace.

Amaya gave you a small pout and you couldn't help but smile. It was more than definite that you loved her but she always enjoyed hearing you say it.

"I love you Amaya."
