"mina!" the girl had been so busy sulking in her room, that it felt like she hadn't seen her wife in years. y/n wrapped her arms around mina's waist from behind her, causing the pink girl to squeak slightly in surprise. mina turned quickly, returning the hug. "y/n! you're here!" she squealed with joy.

"bakusluts, i missed you all." she smiled at the group, fist bumping, high fiving, and hugging each of her best friends. needless to say, y/n felt much better now. she could practically feel the serotonin being made as kaminari cracked his stupid jokes, bakugou insulting him, sero and kirishima defending kaminari, while mina and y/n watched the world burn.

she loved weekends. she could do things like this. sitting outside of a fro-yo shop with her favorite people, arguing about dumb things. there was a certain peace of mind in the chaos of their friend group. "no, denki, like this!" mina proceeded to balance the spoon on her nose. kaminari watched carefully, like it was a particularly difficult math question. he mimicked her actions, finally able to do it. "hell yeah!" he cheered, making the spoon fall off. the frown on his face as the plastic utensil hit the ground sent y/n into  a fit of laughter, slightly choking on some sprinkles as she did so.

"fuck." he frowned, looking at the now dirty spoon. his frown disappeared as he grabbed it, wiping it in his pants before using it to take a bite of his chocolate froyo. "dude, gross." kirishima cringed, shaking his head. "wha? i wipe et off?" he spoke, his mouth full of the frozen sweetness.

she loved days like this. calm, fun, much needed. must everything nice be ruined?
