Chapter 17:

Evander's POV:

Luridus and I have been up all night searching for things that might lead us to Ursula. I've been wondering if I should contact Sorien. He was the one who mentioned Ursula after all. I need to find out where she is. I need to find out if Lorcan is alive. I need... To know if at least someone I loved is alive. It'll give me some hope. Hope that Luridus will live on with me. As I've spent time with him, I've grown to really like him. He's great, funny and makes a great pet. Hopefully I don't get kinky about that when we hit the bed.

I don't know if we will be, I mean I've been sort of whoring around. I did get a bit intimate with Viridis, but I knew he and I wouldn't work out at all. He worries way too much. He's like that overprotective mother that doesn't let their kid out of their sight. Luridus is adorable. He gets flustered in intimate situations, but when he want to be he can be super sexy. Like you could just look into his eyes and be seeing stars.

"Evvv, can we do something else? I'm bored of looking through books on witches. Ursula wouldn't be in them." I sigh, closing the book I've been looking through.

"Why not?" I ask, chewing on my lip in annoyance.

"Well, because she's not easily found. If there was information about her, people could possibly use it to find her. She doesn't like to be bothered." I sigh as I run my fingers through my hair.

"I guess I'm going to have to get in touch with him." I say. I stand up and grab Luridus' hand. "If you live in the sky, does that mean you live with the angels?" I ask.

"No, they live in heaven. Heaven is above the sky, not in it." He replies. I groan. Luridus clenches his teeth, looking away. I raise a brow at him, but I don't say anything.

"Is there any way we can find someone from heaven without searching through books? I don't really know how to call an angel." I sit down on Luridus' lap.

"Well- um I know someone who can get the angel down. He himself is an angel." Luridus says. I smile and kiss his cheek. He blushes when I peck his lips before standing up. I grab a jacket, wanting to seem as humane as possible.

"Well, off we go then." Luridus appears behind me and grabs my hand. I smile at him, giving his hand a little squeeze.

"Why are we at a hospital?" I wonder aloud. Luridus slides his arm around my waist and guides me into the building.

"The angel we're looking for is a doctor." Luridus replies.

"Oh," I look around, "what's his name?"

"Raze, but that's just his human name." Luridus explains, guiding me down a hall. Many nurses pass us, giving us strange looks. I guess it's not every day two guys come in acting all couple-like. To be honest, I'm not even sure if Luridus and I are a couple. I mean, I know he bit me, but we never made it official.

"Here it is." He stops in front of a door and opens it with ease. Inside is a man in a white coat, he looks exhausted for an angel.

"Raze." Luridus greets him. The angel looks up and smiles.

"Luridus, my good friend." He stands up and walks over to us. He and Luridus share a quick hug. Raze looks at me and holds out his hand. I shake it.

"I don't recall meeting you. My apologies if I have. I meet a lot of people as a doctor." He says.

"I don't remember either, so nice to meet you I guess." I mumble awkwardly. He smiles nicely at me.

"So, may I ask why I've been graced with your presence?" He asks, clasping his hands together.
