I'm sure all of you know this song very well, but in any case, here is the song mentioned during the concert if any of you would like to listen to it along with Seri!

8 months later

Seri stood in front of the body-length mirror in her office, doing a last check of her makeup and the fit of her dress. Jeong-hyeok slid into sight behind her, smoothing the lapels of his suit as best as he could in the sliver of reflection available to him.

"Let me," Seri said, turning around and running her hands down his jacket. There was a stray strand dangling down over his forehead from his otherwise gelled-back hair. Seri lifted a hand to fix it, narrowing her eyes at Jeong-hyeok when he playfully bent down low so that she could reach. She smoothed the offending strand of hair back, while Jeong-hyeok took advantage of their proximity to capture her lips in a gentle kiss.

"Lipstick," Seri murmured in protest, though her mouth moved of its own accord against his. She felt his palms on the small of her back pulling her closer and couldn't help sighing into the press of his lips.

"Ahem, daepyonim, Ri Jeong-hyeok ssi..." a voice came gruffly from her office door. Still in the circle of Jeong-hyeok's arms, Seri turned her head to find Manager Hong standing halfway in the doorway. No longer as embarrassed as he had been the first few times he had caught his boss in such a situation, he now took it in stride and seemed entirely unfazed. "Here are the tickets for the premiere. If you leave now you'll be just on time."

Seri gently disentangled herself, striding barefoot towards Manager Hong to take the tickets.

They were the premiere tickets for a movie that Jeong-hyeok had composed most of the musical score for. It was his first big project, and Seri had fretted for days over her outfit: nothing too eye-catching, as she wanted to keep the attention on him, but something still glamorous enough that he would be proud to have her on his arm. She had settled for a simple, long-sleeved black dress with sharp shoulders.

To her surprise, Jeong-hyeok's arm reached around her and took the tickets right before she would have taken them herself. "Apologies for the last-minute notice, Manager Hong, but we won't be attending after all."

"What?" Seri exclaimed, turning around and propping her hands on her waist. "What are you talking about? You've spent the whole year working on this! What did we get all dressed up for then?"

"We're still going somewhere," Jeong-hyeok said, placing his hand on the top of her head as if he were soothing a child.

"This doesn't have anything to do with us bumping into that man I went on two dates with at the music studio, does it? He probably won't even be attending the premiere, for all we know," Seri said, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at him.

They had bumped into the man, a singer who had been recording one of the OSTs for the movie, at Edelweiss Studios as Seri was visiting with some coffee for the staff. They had had civil, polite conversation, but it had been difficult to miss the possessive way Jeong-hyeok had hovered over her all the while.

"What? No, that would be silly," Jeong-hyeok answered. "Although the number of men in this city who can claim to have dated you is still quite astonishing to me."

Ignoring his jibe, Seri tilted her head at him, her gaze growing more probing. "You haven't planned a surprise proposal or something, have you?"

The topic of marriage had come about from a drunken night's conversation about the future. They had been relieved to find out that both wanted to have children, but had very different ideas of how to get married – Seri preferred a quiet, private ceremony, while Jeong-hyeok wanted all the bells and whistles of a traditional wedding.
