BEAUTIFUL STRANGER

4am cartoons

i decided i'd try something new and write in Ashleys POV- lemme know if you like it 

Ashleys POV

I sigh softly as I look at the alarm clock that read '3:59am' in big bold letters. 

"mama" I hear come from the baby monitor as I step out of bed, careful not to wake y/n up. "hang on baby, im coming" I say into the monitor.

I walk down the hall, stopping when i get to Lavenders room.

"Mama!" she squeals making me shush her. "shh, be quiet baby, mommy's sleeping ok?" she nods, lifting her tiny arms up as an invitation for me to pick her up.

I set her gently on my hip as she sucks on her pacifier, her arms wrapped around my neck. 

"Alright sweetheart, lets go to me and mommy's room and watch some cartoons" I say, carrying my one year old daughter to y/n and I's room, setting her next to me after I lie down. 

"What do you wanna watch baby?" I ask tiredly. 

"Tom Tom" she says quietly, laying her head on my shoulder. 

I nod, turning on Tom and Jerry and muting it since the characters never talked. 

I wrap my right arm around my wife, my left around Lavenders small body as she watches Tom and Jerry, giggling every now and then.

I sigh, closing my eyes once again as the light from the TV lit up the room. I press a gentle kiss to y/n's neck as i feel myself begin to fall asleep. 

Im about to sleep when i feel a tiny tap on my shoulder. 

I look over my shoulder to see Lavender staring at me with a small grin. "mama, look" she points to the TV and giggles as she watches Tom chase Jerry around the house. 

"Thats so silly babygirl" I whisper tiredly, as y/n stirs in her sleep. 

"mornin mummy" Lavender says making y/n groan and me laugh. "Its not morning yet honey, go back to sleep." I tell y/n and she nods, burying her face in my neck as I close my eyes, feeling myself drift off to sleep again.

I hear the TV turn off and Lavenders small body cuddles next to mine as she lets out a tiny yawn. 

"night mama"

"goodnight beautiful"
