The figure stood, unmoving, piercing me with his gaze, studying me like one would a caged animal.
'Well what did you expect, that's exactly what you are...'
Pushing my thoughts aside I returned the figures gaze. we stayed this way for what seemed like eternity, studying each over in silence with searching eyes. 'This is taking far too long', I thought, letting out an annoyed sigh and relaxing my posture slightly. I made the decision to speak first as my patience was wearing thin.
"I was told you were to be my savour, but so far you have only reassured me of the fact that you can both stand and breath... Congratulations"
I looked towards the figure once more, waiting expectantly for even a slight form of response, but alas I was once again left in an almost deafening silence, under his steady gaze. Sighing once more I changed in position, 'must I do everything myself?'
"Fine," I called to the still unmoving figure, "of I must do everything by myself then I must." I shuffled about a final time before looking back to the male an adding almost as an after thought, "Oh and if I was you I'd step back a bit, sorely your capable of at least that." I frowned as I concentrated on the metal bars that bound and constructed my wrists and their movements.
That was one good thing I could take from all this. As the months passed and I was injected with more and more vast quantities of strange shimmering fluids I developed an almost ungodly power. Controlling the elements had become almost second nature to me.
Concentrating ally energy on the slightly rusting metal, I felt it mould and shape against my skin until the satisfying sound of metal hitting the cold stone floor filled my ears. Grinning once more I made quick work of the chains around my ankle, which were equally as constricting.
I then proceeded to slowly stand checking the strength of my legs as I took tentative steps around the small space. The figure all the while remained at his post starring awe, mouth slightly agape at the power such a small creature held.
Once I was happy with the preciseness of my steps, I returned my attention to the stranger before me. My smirk once again settled into place as I smugly stride towards them taking in their expression. I stopped before him, my eyes glistening with mischief as I place a finger firmly under his chin, lightly urging his mouth closed.
"Now, now," I chuckled "wouldn't want to catch flys. Though to be honest I've had worse."
I raised my gaze to his taking in his appearance. He had the most startling Crimson eyes that stood out against the dark lashes with framed them. His face was a ghostly pale, but not enough so to be seen as sickly, while raven hair that could only be compared to one of the darkest nights framed his face in perfectly tousled waves with only few unruly strands falling out of place. The tousled locks themselves with their softness and shape reminded me strangely of a crow.
'How odd', I thought as I took a step closer hoping to get a better look. Thats when it hit me, a strange other-worldly type aura surrounded him like a blanket. The sides of my lips twitched in amusement.
'My, my things must be getting interesting, if there's a demon involved...'
