R E I N A couldn't stop thinking about Yeray's party. It was incredible how much she actually wanted to go out in a long time, herself not knowing the reason as to why. Reina liked to believe she just wanted to relax a little, having worried about Polo and Valerio, Ander, too. It was just too hard to admit a different fact.

Seeing others post fun selfies or videos on Instagram of the party didn't help the fact, but Reina couldn't just drop everything and go to the club, she had Maria to look after and if she had learned anything before it was that leaving her sick sister ended terribly.

Reina cozied herself in the living room of their apartment, watching TV or trying to, because her mind traveled far away like always. She laid in a flowing silk dress, her lower body covered with the softest blanket she could have. It was warm, and yet Reina's mind froze from all the bad thoughts one could possess.

Maria was laying near Reina, pale and quiet as usually. The sick girl stared at the screen of their TV, shivering slightly from temperature. A bucket laid nearby in case she'd throw up, but Reina didn't mind it at all. She didn't want Maria stuck in her bedroom, when they still could've spent time together.

Reina took a sip of her hot cocoa, deciding she had to stop looking at her phone. The party was already happening and she already let Susana out to have some fun. Gabriela was out of the house too so it were just two sisters, one sick and quiet, another sick in a different way, and quiet as well.

The redhead glanced at Maria then, not hiding a frown on her face when she saw her sister's condition. So much time had already passed, but the cancer seemed to stay in such a sweetheart's body. Reina couldn't help but see life leave Maria as the days went by, taking away the naive innocence Maria's smile once had.

Maria hated pity, however little was shown so upon glancing at Reina, the redhead had to smile, changing her frown into a smile. "You okay?" Reina questioned gently, placing a hand on Maria's covered ankle, the bones and nothing else making Reina want to cry again.

"Yeah," Maria sighed quietly and turned her heavy looking head back at the TV, her bald head covered with a pink bandana. "At least I don't feel like throwing up anymore."

Reina smiled, glad to hear it, but she had no idea how much it still hurt. Ander was going through the exact same thing and Reina could only wish for better times. "What's up with you? Still bummed you can't go to that party?" Maria then asked Reina, for some reason grinning weakly, confusing the girl.

The redhead decided to shrug Maria's expression off and scoffed. "No, I love spending time with you."

Maria rolled her eyes then groaned, probably feeling her head explode over such movement. "Said no one ever," the girl mused dully, Reina glaring at her to be quiet. "I snooped online a little and saw that Valerio's already there."
