K N O W I N G T H A T S A L V A D O R was leaving still worried Reina, she kept thinking that even if Salvador promised to find the best replacement she knew no other man or woman would ever match up to him. Reina trusted Salvador probably the most out of everyone, she didn't want to suddenly finish what they had started.
However, Reina was happy for him - a better job suggestion was exactly what he needed, it was what he deserved so Reina knew she was content to know Salvador would be able to help so many more people.
It was morning as Reina walked through Las Encinas, dreading to enter the class, knowing damn well everyone would be there. From Valerio to Guzman she didn't want to meet anyone, but decided she had already been doing it for a long time. Another day was nothing or so she thought.
When Reina entered the first class of the morning, she paused upon noticing Cayetana and Valerio talk in the back, Cayetana stroking Valerio's cheek as he stared at her the same way he used to look at Reina. Pained and hurt, Reina didn't move until a girl from behind her grumbled and brushed past, a few heads turning to the doorway.
Valerio's was one of them as their eyes met, the redhead breaking eye contact as she entered finally, trying not to hurt over what she had seen first thing in the morning. She thought what she told Valerio had to make him shocked, for a second, Reina wished he'd pursue her again, but maybe Reina was too late. Maybe Valerio already loved someone else, those people being Polo and Cayetana.
Even if that would've been the case, Reina was still against it. The girl didn't want to be conservative, she liked to believe she wasn't, but seeing the three of them together seemed too complicated. Reina didn't know many people in a polyamorous relationship, truthfully, she had only seen it with Polo, Carla and Christian before, and it looked weird how three people could love each other equally at the same time. Some of those had to like one out of two more, which would cause a bunch of problems, but the more Reina thought the less sense she could make.
Reina moved to sit next to a tired looking Ander, noticing Polo look at her discretely, his eyes calm and yet Reina still could see flecks of worry in them. Clearly, their last conversation was still on his mind just like it was to Reina.
The redhead finally settled next to Ander, stroking his cheek as the male smiled without saying anything, the girl putting her notebook and pen on the desk, catching Polo's eyes as he stared at her as if trying to hypnotize. Reina frowned and sat straight, not noticing Valerio looking at the exchange from his spot as Cayetana obnoxiously talked to him about things he didn't care. "Are you coming to the blackout party tonight?" Ander suddenly spoke, Reina glancing at him with a shrug. "Come on, even I'm coming."
