F O R T H E F I R S T time in ages Reina finally prepared for an exam. Knowing she needed to try harder since these exams were last, Reina took some time to actually open a book and learn. It was hard, obviously, because Reina wasn't good at chemistry nor did she spend the last year worrying about grades, but when the exam started she felt far more confident than she ever did.
Reina continued to answer, tapping the screen as she sat next to someone she didn't expect she'd sit next to. Reina had been slightly late to the exam, rushing in last to see Valerio was sitting by himself, all other chairs taken. Cayetana seemed to glance at the male every few seconds, probably confused as to why he was suddenly so cold to her or Polo, but noticing Reina sit down next to Valerio and smile at him, the blonde could put two and two. More so, because Valerio smiled and looked at Reina with much more passion than he could give her.
The redhead continued to work on her test, trying to ignore Valerio, who sat so close to her, but he seemed just as busy doing the test. Reina smiled slightly, feeling warm he actually cared, but the two haven't really talked after the blackout ball. Valerio left Reina with a question whether she was truly ready to be with him, and so far, even if Reina did want that, she was scared. Especially because just by looking at Polo she couldn't even think anymore.
The girl sighed, not knowing an answer to one question. She rubbed her forehead in frustration, trying to remember what she had read to diligently, but nothing came to mind. Moreover, Samuel suddenly stood up from his seat, violating the rules. "What do you want? You're not allowed to get out of your seats without raising your hand," the teacher said as Samuel approached his desk, leaning forward to speak.
Reina glanced at Valerio in confusion, the male not really paying attention since he looked incredibly busy with his test. The redhead frowned and looked ahead of her to see Lu switch her tablet with Carla's, both girls quick as Carla stared at Lu. Only then Reina noticed something was wrong with the blonde - from her pale face to red eyes she looked unwell, reminding Reina of herself during the summer.
Whatever was happening with the blonde girl, this caused Reina to be worried, suddenly her test meaning so much less.
After the exam, Reina forgot all about Valerio, quickly getting out of her seat to join Lu, who watched Carla walk out of class with her head hanging low. "Do you know what is going on?" Reina asked Lu in worry, the female looking annoyed so she only grabbed Reina's arm and dragged her out with her.
It's been a while Reina had even talked to Carla, sadly after the whole Marina thing the two once best friends grew apart, but even now, seeing Carla go through something hard left Reina in a need to help. She knew what it felt like to be lost and hurting, never wanting to cause others the same pain. "Hey," Lu suddenly called after, causing the blonde to turn around and face her two once inseparable friends, Reina looking at her with deeply concerned eyes. "You owe me an A."
