"No way," I murmured.
We are still standing in the middle of nowhere while he kept on telling me to move. "Tara na kasi, kulit mo naman!" he protested.
"What?! You want us na mag-lakad to the hotels? Well just to tell you, the hotels are too far from here!" I stomped my feet in irritation as he looked at me with curiosity written all over his face.
"Ayaw mo maglakad?" he asked while staring at me and I immediately shook my head.
"Ayaw nga, okay?" I rolled my eyes.
He let out a scoff before rolling his eyes too. "Marunong ka lumipad? O hala sige," he then started walking away from me and I can clearly see some guys checking me out so I started to panic. I ran towards him and I held onto his arms as tight as I possibly could. He turned to me before laughing as we walked our way towards a hotel. I am continuously roaming my eyes around and I can't help but smile seeing how normal this day could be.
No paparazzi, no camera, and just me. The ordinary me who can roam around just like any other people. How I miss this kind of life. I wonder what could've been me right now if it wasn't for Kale. Well he made all of this possible.
"Kale," I called.
He was startled when he looked at me with a confused face so I laughed a little before smiling at him. "Thank you for this," I said sincerely.
He chuckled before niya ginulo ang buhok ko. "Ilang beses ka ba magpapasalamat sa akin?" he said laughingly.
I shrugged my shoulders then he suddenly stopped walking. He was staring straightly in front of us so I looked at it too. It was a building with a plate hanging in the door saying 'hostal de amor'. I'm not a fan of Spanish language but I clearly know what that means and it doesn't even suits the outside look of this freakish place!
This can pass as a shooting site for a horror or thriller film! It gives me goosebumps!
"You've got to be kidding me! That hotel of love doesn't look like love! It's haunted! Wanna bet?" I asked almost exaggerating.
Well that's not what exaggerating fully means to me duh! This is my vocabulary here.
"Tanga, parang love lang yan.. Nasa loob yung ganda tssk," he reasoned out while pulling me inside.
"Did you just cursed at me?" I ask a little shocked and probably, disrespected! Geez I'm a royalty in my own way! I don't have the blood but I definitely overpass the visuals qualifications of being one so duh! I should be more than considered as one.
"Here sir, have a good night to you lovers.." The front desk lady said so my face immediately crumpled. Even her features looks haunted! And is she nagmumura by calling us lovers? Err— duh! Not in any lifetime would I be together with this shithead!
"First of all we're not— Kale!"
He covered my mouth and smiled so wide at the girl who immediately blushed because of that. "Sorry for that, my girlfriend is a bit stubborn.." he said before pulling me towards the staircase.
I forced myself out of his grip before punching his arm. I know it would hurt but I don't care! I had to vent my frustrations out on him! I rolled my eyes as I followed him up to the fifth floor of this godforsaken place.
"Bakit ba there's no elevator here!" I protested while pouting at him.
"Ngayon ka pa nag-reklamo kung kailan nandito na," he rolled his eyes back at me so I let out a scoff.
We entered the room and I felt like all my fears came into life as I roamed my eyes around. No cobwebs and dusty things but the design itself makes me want to vomit. The floor isn't tiled and the surface of the walls are rough, probably enough to scratch my skin if ever I get in touch with it!
