*My Azur Lane Base

*Evan/My POV

Upon arrival at my base, the new shipgirls were sent to the medical bay while their ships are sent to the dry dock to get repaired.

"Where's Suruga?" Kii asked once she arrived in my base.

"Kii. I understand that you want to see Suruga but you need to rest first. I'm sure the battle against the Sirens has weakened you." I tried to persuade Kii to go see Vestal first.

"Fine. But under the condition that Suruga visits me once I'm feeling better." Kii reluctantly agreed.

"Don't worry, I will send her to visit you once you are feeling better Kii." I promised. Upon hearing that, Kii went to see Vestal along with the other new shipgirls.

"Alright everyone. You're all dismissed." I dismissed all of my shipgirls that accompanied me during the sortie. One by one, my shipgirls left until all that's left is me and surprisingly Valiant.

"So how fares the battle? Also you're impressive out there." Valiant asked me.

"Thanks Valiant and the battle went well. Also how did you think of your first sortie as a member of my squad?" I asked.

"Hmm. It was alright but I will appreciate it if I saw more action." Valiant requested more combat.

"I'll try. Just promise me that you'll be careful out there." I said.

"I promise." Valiant nodded.

"Good. If there's nothing else, then you're dismissed." I dismissed Valiant.

"Goodbye!" Valiant waved her goodbyes to me and left.

After Valiant left, I went back to my office.

*Timeskip

I got bored doing paperwork, so I decided to take a short break. As I was taking a break, I saw a certain book beside me and I decided to use it to talk to a certain Crimean Princess back in a certain Kingdom.

~Hello Elincia. I hope you are doing well back in Askr. Things are looking alright back in my base~ I wrote in the book and a few minutes later, I got a reply.

~I am doing well back in Askr Lord Evan. Apart from a few skirmishes near Askr, there's nothing much going on~ Elincia replied to my message.

~I see~ I replied.

~How about you Lord Evan?~ Now it's Elincia's turn to ask me.

~My shipgirls and I just rescued some new shipgirls. Apart from that, nothing much has happened on my side lately.~ I replied.

~oh~ Elincia replied.

~Also I'm starting to feel like something big is about to happen in my very soon. I must be vigilant.~ I added in.

~You have my support Lord Evan!~ Elincia expressed her support for me.

~Thanks Elincia. I have to go back to my palerwork now. See you later.~ I thanked her and before ending the conversation with her.

~Goodbye Lord Evan!~ Elincia said goodbye to me as I closed the book.

*Royston's Siren Base

*Third Person POV

In a certain Siren Commander's base, an unconscious Shinano is surrounded by high ranking Sirens and a human. The Sirens and the human are laughing at Shinano's unconscious body.

"Shinano has been defeated!!" Purifier exclaimed as she laughed at Shinano's unconscious body. Tester Beta looked at Purifier and gave an evil grin

"It's a shame that she refused to join the Sirens." Observer Alpha commented as she gave a smirk.

"So what is this 'Dreamworld' you've been talking about Grand Admiral?" Purifier turned to Royston while Tester Beta giggled.

"The Dreamworld is not a dream. It is a terrible reality." Royston pushed up his glasses and replied.
