Chapter 66

*Evan's/My Azur Lane Base

*Third Person POV

A Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier arrived at the docks of Evan's Azur Lane Base along with a few other ships.

Valiant rushed to the docks only to encounter Kii and the other Sakura Empire Shipgirls escorting Shinano to the medical bay.

"Coming through!" Kii exclaimed as she pushed the Gurney along with the other Sakura Empire Shipgirls.

"Yep. He rescued Shinano alright." Valiant thought as she watched Kii and the other Sakura Empire Shipgirls push the gurney carrying Shinano to the medical bay.

"There you are Valiant." A familiar voice interrupted Valiant. Valiant turned to see Evan standing behind her. He is accompanied by Enterprise, Illustrious, Forbin and Vauquelin.

"Did anything happen?" Enterprise asked, causing Valiant to gulp.

"Yeah. Why the rush?" Vauquelin asked.

"Umm. Commander. I think you've got to see this." Valiant started leading Evan and the others to the medical bay to visit the Venuses and Glorious.

*Evan/My POV

"What the? What happened here?" I asked once I entered the medical bay.

"Commander. The reason why I called you back is because I need your help." Valiant replied.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I investigated a strange island near our base and I met these girls." Valiant pointed at the unfamiliar girls laying down on beds.

"Them?" I asked and Valiant nodded.

"Yes. As we were about to start the festival, Queen Elizabeth and Akagi invaded the island and managed to capture it." Valiant explained further.

"So the crazy fox and the rotten queen is behind all of this?" Vauquelin asked.

"Yes. Elizabeth along with Akagi gravely injured them and Glorious using Battlecarriers." Valiant replied.

"Did you say Battlecarriers?!" I asked.

"Yes. I don't know where they managed to get Battlecarriers but they are a lot stronger now." Valiant replied.

"What is a battlecarrier?" Vauquelin asked.

"It is a combination of an aircraft carrier and a battleship. Meaning it has a flight deck and battleship guns." I replied.

"Oh." Vauquelin gulped.

"With the battlecarriers, Akagi and Queen Elizabeth gravely wounded those girls and Glorious. I have no choice but to retreat and abandon the island." Valiant said as she looked down.

"You did the right thing. If you stayed and fight, who knows what will happen to you." I gave Valiant a pat. "What's done has been done. Our first order of business is to recapture the island." I remarked.

"How are we going to do that Evan?" Enterprise asked.

"Our Legendary Weapons." I replied.

"What about them?" Illustrious asked.

"I have a feeling that Akagi and Queen Elizabeth's Battlecarriers are immune to normal weaponry so we need stronger weapons like our Elibean Legendary Weapons." I said.

"Does that mean I'm allowed to use my lance?" Vauquelin eagerly asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Woohoo!" Vauquelin cheered.

"Right now, we must plan on how to retake the island." I said and Vauquelin quietened down.

"True." Vauquelin remarked.

"Come. We've got work to do." I said as I made my way back to my office.

*Random Island Near Evan's/My Azur Lane Base

*Third Person POV

"Hurry up!" Queen Elizabeth screamed at some manjuus, urging them to hurry up.

The manjuus, startled tried to walk faster in order to carry Queen Elizabeth's throne until one of them fell.

"You're useless!" Queen Elizabeth shouted as she got out of her throne and killed the manjuu that fell.
