Guilty Hands (Jack Frost)

[ hey everyone still invested in this.

So i havent updated in a while I know.
I wish i could say i came up with a great excuse but honestly.
There was an incident that caused me to stay in the hospital for a while.

I'm completely fine now though and out again aswell but I just get really sensitive/triggered to even rethink about what happened so I'm not going to go into details.

Though what I can say is that unfortunately after I woke up I was left a little confused about a lot of things. I forgot a lot of stuff I had done or that had happened in my life or the way certain things are suppose to work.
(I legt struggled with opening a bottle or turning a key)

And this story is sadly one of the things  I could not remember anything of. I didnt even know that i wrote this neither that it actually got a lot of ppl (a lot in my opinion) interested.. so it straight up felt like I was reading someone else's story and cringing at their grammar mistakes when I found this account on my phone

Anyway my point is I'm not feeling like I'm the same person with the same "plan in mind" for this story but I'm gonna try to continue writting it anyway cause I liked it so headsup if it's even worse because i think a lot of english vocabulary might be missing from my mind aswell😶./it might feel like a different person is writing this]

'' well " bunny cleared his throat as he entered the room and jack looked up from the Cup in his Hands.

Tooth and sandy had also arrived again once they heard of bunny awakening and the Guardian of memories smiled brightly while sandy had his mouth hanging open at the sight of bunny all dressed up in a light armour keeping his boomerangs around him as before only.

That he was looking, like a human.

'' you look great !"
She finally exclaimed flying closer in a rush to be circling him in awe.
'' how do you feel ?" She voiced what sandy was trying to show through symbols as he walked closer aswell followed by north who rose both his hands before himself
'' what about the beautiful red coat I had prepared and given to you "

It was more a silent question and as silent as it was. It had been ignored as bunny smirked folding his arms while watching tooth fly around him.
'' I feel great .. i can still fast travel aswell it doesnt feel like my powers have been affected by any bit "

As he had explained it proudly, his eyes landed on jack who was now standing a bit further away, playing with his fingers while glancing at the ground as sad as he had been for too long.

'' Jack " He called carefully.. softly approaching him.
'' are you ok ?"

Awkwardly jack looked aside like he felt ashamed.
'' y-yeah .. just .. " unsure and uncomfortable by possibly sounding annoying or burdensome again in comparison to what bunny had just done for him. He muttered '' j-just tired "

Bunny turned to look at the others, checking if they had heard it and possibly reacted in a way that would reveal that soemthing had happened while bunny was out. But they all seemed calm still, confused to what he had said but calm.

'' do you want to lay down ?" Bunny suggested as he reached out, his hand gently taking Jack's to stop him from playing with his hands nervously.

'' n-no .. I'm ok " his quiet voice continued when he now eyed their hands.

A shiver ran through Jack's body when the difference of body heat each carried become more obvious.
" there " norths voice broke through when a red blanket was placed around jack. Who pulled his hand out of bunnies, as he also retreated pulled back to reality of being in a room with other people aswell.

'' thank you " jack almost whispered unintentionally.

Tooth started flying again with a tiny gasp and north stepped away from them so the winter spirit looked down confused only to see the ground around his feet freeze up.

He stepped back caught off guard himself only to have bunny reach out for him holding him still gently. His bare feet were on the ice aswell but it didnt seem to bother him the slightest.

It confused both of them.
''S-sorry .. sorry.. I will I'm going to clean it-"
'' relax Jack it's just ice.. it will melt and dry ok ? Dont worry about it " bunny spoke in between as he could sense him becoming paniced over possibly having angered them.

And jack hesitated with looking at the others when he visibly seemed uncomfortable " I think .. I should return to my room .. "

'' ill help you " bunny stated without giving jack time to argue about it he had already turned him, his hand on his back to guide him foreward.

Tooth was going to follow still flying if it werent for north who held her back smirking slightly as he shock his head at her while looking after the 2 disappearing through the door.

As the easter bunny helped jack back onto the bed, the boy exhaled to be leaning his back agaisnt the wall the bed was places against.
The wall almost instandly froze up in ice and he leaned away caught off guard to look at the ice.

Bunny chuckled softly.
'' it's a good sign"

Awkwardly jack placed his hands onto his lap to look down at them.

'' are you sure your okay?"

He nodded not saying a word neither looking up at him.
'' t-thank you for .. doing.. doing that "

'' it was worth it " he placed his hand onto the winter spirits who glanced at it in thought before pulling how smaller once out of his.

Hesitantly he looked up at bunny again.
'' I think I'm going to sleep now ...."

Almost like he understood the silent signs, bunny nodded slowly getting back up to his feet as he looked at him worriedly. '' i wont be far.. no Matter what even if you're just scared, call ok?"

Briefly Jack nodded but even then bunny hesitated before he left to close the door behind himself, wanting to smile at him again but the boy hadnt looked at him anymore, instead he laid down.
So bunny closed the door silently.

But the Winter spirit was far from sleepy as he looked foreward in thought. Blinking aa everything that has happened from the far far beginning was resurfacing in his mind. Creating a Chaos in hus head of what to feel, Think or do.

He finally sat up, teary eyes he hugged bis knees going to calm down. Only to be Feeling worse.

It wasnt that he felt hurt but rather that he felt like he shouldve died. Like he had done something wrong. Gotten soemthing he doesnt deserve.

His eyes landed on the table were his broken staff was still laying on the tow.
Jack looked down onto his hands as the blanket had a surface of icelike snow.
Before glancing Back at his staff as je moved the blanket off himself to get toward it.
