Kenzie's POV
It's my very first lesson in the astronomy class. I barely know anyone here, and all the faces are new.
"Welcome to the astronomy class, my name is Mr.Wilber"
Everyone replies "Hey Mr.Wilber"
As am trying to get my notebook out, I see a a white girl with round glasses, freckles on her cheeks. I can tell she's gonna be really great company but am not sure if she's friendly.
"Hey"
She looks at my with the corners of her mouth slightly lifting open but doesn't say a word.
"I'm K... Kenzie, you're" I stutter
"Hey, I'm Ciara" she says as she holds her brown hair back and rolls her eyes down.
"Nice to meet you Ciara, you can sit right next to me"
It's so funny how we both then started talking after the lesson cause turns out she's also not from her, she's from England and I can tell by her thick English accent.
After the lesson we head out to get lunch and everybody is sitted in groups of about 5 but we are only two.
I can tell the coolest group is the one Mark and Leroy. It has 3 girls and 2 boys and I only know Mark and Leroy (the only boys I know so far)
"Do you know those guys Ciara?"
"Yes, my roommate told me about then yesterday" she says as she yanks my hand towards her and starts talking in a very low tone.
"The one on the left is Mark! Mark is like the coolest guy around this campus with his friend sitting right in front of him Leroy"
"Oh Mark, Such a hottie" the words tremble out of my mouth
"Get over it child". she says as she laughs at me
"Then girl next to Mark is Ashley, she's Mark's girl friend"
Immediately she says, my stomach starts mumbling. Ashley is a redheaded, petite but yet busty girl.
"She looks good doesn't she"
"Yeahhhhh" I say as with my in an elongated tone.
"Well the other two girls best friends, Melanie and Bianca, they say those three girls can get whatever they want" she grumbles in my ear
"Whose Leroy's girlfriend?" I ask and I pretend to pick up something from the ground.
"Leroy just broke up with Bianca, Bianca said she doesn't date depressed losers"
"But Leroy seems very okay"
"Everything was okay until he lost his mother a couple of months ago"
"Ohhhhhh, that's sad" I say with my jaw wide open looking at Mark swing his hair to the side.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing, nothing at all" as I look back at her and laugh
"Better behave yourself young girl" she says in a way thicker English accent and we both laugh.
