Kenma's POV

I yawned, waking up slowly. I glanced around, seeing Kuroo under me. It took me a moment, but I soon remembered what we did last night. My face turned red at the memory. I don't regret doing it with Kuroo, but, now I was sore and embarrassed...

"Mm.. Morning kitten." Kuroo said as he woke up. I blushed, mumbling a good morning back to him before nuzzling my face into his side. Kuroo chuckled, pulling me closer with one arm and planting a kiss on my head. I stayed like this for a while before slowly pulling myself away.

"Where're you going baby?" Kuroo asked as I felt my heart skip a beat at that nickname.

"Um, I'm gonna go take care of Cinnamon and Apple Pie.." I mumbled, Kuroo nodding as I got up. I took a few moments to stretch, shivering from the cold air compared to under the blankets. I walked over to the closet, just taking one of Kuroo's sweaters and pulling it over the shirt I had on before wandering off to go find my cats.

"There you two are." I said, crouching down and petting Cinnamon and Apple Pie as they came over. Both of them purred when I picked them up, taking them to the kitchen. I set both of them down, rummaging in the cabinet that had their food in it. Hm.. With Apple Pie here now, I'd need to go out and get some more food and brushes for her. After the two were fed, I went back upstairs to find Kuroo. I startled when Kuroo picked me up from behind, laughing and giving my cheek a kiss.

"Sorry, wasn't trying to scare you. How are you, you know, from last night?"

"I'm okay.. I.. I actually enjoyed it with you." I mumbled, feeling shy. Kuroo smiled softly, nodding as he held me tightly.

"Good, that's what I wanted."

"Um, Kuroo, can you go out with me somewhere?"

"Of course baby, where did you want to go?"

"I should get some more supplies and stuff for Apple Pie and Cinnamon.." I said with a small smile, Kuroo sighing slightly but nodding. Setting me down and telling me to give him a moment to change. I probably should change too. Of course, I had my own clothes, but Kuroo's were so much better.

Akaashi's POV
"Akaashiiiiiii?"

"Hm?" I turned my head, being met face-to-face with my husband. He smiled, kissing me before pulling away.

"What're you up to, you've been very preoccupied lately." He asked, moving around the side of the couch and sitting next to me. I leaned into his side, sighing softly.

"Bokuto, can you believe that Kuroo hasn't killed Kenma in all this time, and is actually dating him now."

"Well, it is something new. But both of them seem happy. Especially Kuroo. Remember how upset he was when Kenma went missing?"

"Yes, I do. I wonder what makes Kenma so special."

"What do you mean babe?"

"Nothing. Anyway, I should be going."

"That time of year..?"

"...Yes."

"Do you want me to come with you, Akaashi?"

"No, I want to be alone." I said quietly as I got up. Bokuto nodded in understanding, standing as well and giving me a tight hug and gentle kiss. I smiled faintly, telling him goodbye as I went to my room and grabbed what I needed before heading out.

It was kind of Bokuto to offer to join me every year, but every year I tell him no. Except for the first year we got married. Once I arrive, I turned the car off and took in a deep breath. Grabbing the small box next to me in the passenger seat before stepping out of the car. Walking down the well kept dirt and gravel pathway until I found what I was looking for.

R.I.P
Akaashi Reiki
Beloved sister and daughter

I crouched down carefully before just sitting in front of the stone. Setting down the box in front of me. I stared at the words engraved quietly, running my index finger in the grooves of the words before examining the area.

"Mm... You could use some new flowers. I saw the type you like at a new outdoor market. I'll be sure to get some and bring them tomorrow. Maybe later today. Anyway, I brought you your gift." I said, opening the lid of the box. Pulling out the photo album that Bokuto and I keep. We update it more often than you'd think. I moved so I was sitting next to the stone, rather than in front of it before opening the book.

"Bokuto is doing well. He offered to come see you today. But, I had something else I wanted to talk to you about a bit later. Anyway, Bokuto and I, we were considering a family. We aren't certain if we would adopt or try to find a surrogate." I said, flipping through the photo book. After going through the newest photos, I closed the book and laid it carefully back into the box so I could take it back home.

"Now, what I really wanted to talk to you about. Do you remember Kuroo. Of course you do.. He was the last person you were with before.. you left me. Mom and dad practically died of heartbreak. I hope you liked Bokuto. He was the only one who saved me from myself after I lost all of you. I know he would've liked you. But.. besides all that. I came to tell you that I'm going to make sure Kuroo pays for what he did to you. It's taken me absolute years to figure out how to do it. But now I have some leverage and a plan.... I should get going. I'll bring you new flowers tomorrow." I mumbled, getting up and dusting the dirt off my pants while picking the box I brought up.

I said a final goodbye for the night to my sister, returning to my car. I placed the box back into the passenger seat carefully, looking up at the sky. Reiki loved the sky, she appreciated it so much more than most. When we were little and I'd be walking with her to and from the bus stop for school, she'd always point up and tell me to look at the sky. At the time, I thought nothing of it. I thought she was just being my little sister. But now, I wish she were still here to tell me to look up whenever there was a streak of pink and purple.

"Reminiscing are we?"

"Perhaps."

"Well, shall I go get the sad music."

"We have business to discuss." I said, slamming the passenger door shut. Turning around with a small glare.

"Of course, let's not fight. We have a common enemy, that makes us allies."

"Allies takes it a bit far."

"Call it what you'd like. Now, shall we get started, Akaashi?"

"Of course, Tsukishima."
