-Niall's Pov-

I decided to wake up early in the morning so I could get ready for work, work is now I have to get used to saying. it's already been two weeks now(A/N I'm still sorry for the time skip but I think you'll love this). I took a sip of my coffee "well somebody's up bright and early" Heather's cheery voice said as she came in with a very nice blue dress on "what's with the dress" I asked her.

"I need to look good because the greatest designer is coming to my work to look at the designs everybody's been doing.I hope he picks mine" she said "wow I never see you this excited about something" I muttered out. she slapped my arm playfully "hey I'm always excited about something" I scoffed and crossed my arms "yeah, like what" I smirked.

"Well let's see, my birthday, seeing my family and also having my three year anniversary with Chris" she said with love in her eyes as she mentioned Chris. I'm really happy for her that she found the one. "Come on let's get going you don't want to be late" I gave her a look "ok ok I just don't want to miss Charles St'Bernard (I made this person up) the greatest designer" she said.

I rolled my eyes at her "lets just go I have an important assignment I need to work on" I told her as we left the apartment. She started the car and drove off.

"So how's work" she asked "it's been good" I answered, she gave me a smile "I'm glad you love your job."

she stopped at my work place "have fun" then she left for her work. I walked into the building and got into the elevator. I made it to the seventeenth floor and got into my office "hey Niall. how was your weekend" Anna asked as she entered the office "it was good,what about you" she smiled "same old same old but thanks for asking."

She placed some papers on my desk "ok Mr.Payne wants the PowerPoint to be about this new product but you have to ask him what it is because he won't tell me or Ms. Fern either" she said sitting down "why do I have to ask him" I groaned out "because he likes you, the idea's you give him for every meeting he has is incredible. just like that tablet you came up with that you can use in water is genius" she said.

I shrugged "they should've made that product a few years ago" she laughed "of course" "but still go talk to him when it's lunch for that product so you know what your doing for the PowerPoint well technically us" she said, I nodded "alright I'll ask him. lets just get to work" I asked her and she nodded.

When lunch came I went to the twentieth floor "ah Niall what can I help you with" Ms. Fern asked me when she came out of her office "umm I wanted to ask Mr.Payne about something" I said biting my lip nervously, she gave me a smile "of course you may go on ahead" then she walked back into her office.

I walked over to his door and debated whether to knock or not, I knocked on the door and I heard a faint 'come
in' so I entered his office "ahh Niall what can I do for you" he asked looking up from his papers. "Well I was wondering what the product was that I need to do on the PowerPoint" I asked. he stroked his chin thinking "of course, please take a seat" he motioned me to sit on the couch.

As I sat on the couch he sat next to me. resting his arm near me and crossed his leg "now you were wondering what the product was correct" he asked "of course. Ms. Kendrick was also wondering as well" I answered his question. he nodded his head "the product is pretty much a phone that will be able to identify your voice so no one can get into your phone."
