Ember walks hand in hand with Jim as they walk down the street to a coffee shop close by.Jim has been talking about wanting to try this place.
Ember's not a coffee drinker in fact she think she's allergic to the smell, but Ember figures she can have tea.
Jim opens the door for Ember and she walks inside.
They both walk up to the register and look up at the menu.
Ember sees a tea that sounds delicious. Cinnamon apple.
"Are you guys ready to order?" The barista asks.
Jim looks down at Ember and she nods.
"What can I get ya?" The barista asks.
"I'll have a black coffee," Jim says.
"I'll have the cinnamon apple tea," Ember smiles.
The barista nods as she types their order into the machine in front of her.
"That will be fifteen dollars," The lady says.
Ember looks up at Jim with wide eyes.
Jim just smirks and hands the lady his card.
Once they get to a little table in the corner Ember speaks up.
"That was so expensive! What did we even order?" Ember questions.
Jim chuckles.
"It wasn't too much," Jim shrugs.
"Are you kidding. I could buy like two whole boxes of that tea and a bag of coffee for you and it would probably be the same price," Ember exclaims.
Jim just shrugs.
"I didn't think it was that expensive," Jim says as he strokes his beard.
"Whatever you say Mr. Rockstar," Ember snorts.
"Thank you by the way," Ember says as she sits down.
"You're welcome," Jim smiles.
Ember looks at the table and sees an almond milk creamer.
Suddenly her mind screams at her to drink it.
Ember bites her lip and looks away from it.
Her brain keeps telling her to drink it even though she knows she's deathly allergic to nuts.
"Ember," Jim says as he looks at her with a concerned expression on his face.
Jim studies Ember's face with confusion as she stares at the coffee creamers.
"Ember," Jim repeats slightly louder.
Ember quickly looks at him.
"What? Sorry," Ember panics.
"Are you okay?" Jim asks.
Ember sighs.
"Crap," she mutters to herself.
