Hello Everyone!!!
Welcome, to the interview of fanfic awards winner
Our winner has wrote an amazing book " The Hidden Half " in Swasan fanfic category.
Today we are very glad to have winner with us!!
Welcome!!
1. Real name ( if you don't want to disclose it's alright).
It's nothing like that. Almost everyone in my fandom knows my name. My name is Garuna Singh.
2. Age?
I am 26 years old.
3. What is your dream job?
My dream is to become an IAS officer and at present I am preparing for that only. Let's see when I succeed in achieving it.
4. When did you start your journey as an author?
I started writing almost four years ago in the month of February. I was in the last semester of my engineering and trust me I had never expected to be a writer. I used to think that if just in case I end up writing something, I will be greeted with rotten eggs and tomatoes.
5. Did Wattpad help you improve you as an author?
Yes, definitely. In a way, Wattpad gave wings to my dreams. All these four years on Wattpad have been nothing but absolute bliss. With all ups and downs, my journey on Wattpad has been worth remembering.
6. What do you expect from readers?
All my readers have been pretty amazing. The love and support they all give me is just nonpareil. The genuine readers, that I have, have always stood by my side, no matter what. And that really means a lot to me. But one thing that I feel the need of sometimes is honest feedbacks from some of my readers, instead of the one word comments, 'nice', 'super', 'amazing'. A writer needs to know all the positives and negatives of his/her writing and the feedbacks from their readers is the only thing that helps
7. Did you expected yourself to be one of the winners?
Honestly, no. I am back on Wattpad after a break of really long time and this win came as a pleasant surprise.
8. When did you come across this Swasan fanfiction category and how did you fell in love with it.
In fact, I'm not much of a serial watcher. But Swasan instantly captured my heart the moment I saw their first scene together. It was their scene in the hospital and they looked absolutely adorable together. And then while surfing internet, I stumbled upon a story written on their character. Eventually, I became a Swasan reader first, and then somehow ended up becoming a writer as well.
9. What was this response you got when you published "Hidden Half" love book?
'The Hidden Half' is a lot different from my other stories. It was my third story and I wasn't very sure about it but still wanted to give it a try. When I published it for the first time in 2016, the response was good but somehow my self-confidence gave up and I had to put it on hold then. And when I published it again with a little refreshed plot, the response was really a lot better than I had expected.
10. How do you describe teenage?
Teenage according to me is the most tender phase of our lives. It is the time which can either make us or break us. So, this is the time which needs utmost attention. In here, we experience a change not only on physical level but on emotional level as well. The Sun that had started rising in our childhood, starts gaining its full brilliance in teenage and we become all set to explore everything out there. With the youth ahead of us, like an unexplored territory, teenage is the phase that paves the path towards it.
11. Things you learned as a teenager?
They say mistakes are our best lessons. And like everyone of us, even I have done some mistakes during my teenage but the lessons that I have learnt from them have made my life ahead a lot smoother. I have learnt that as beautiful as the life is, there is a dark side as well. Every coin has two faces. It is all up to you which side do you choose.
12. A short message for teenagers?
All I would like to say that always listen to your elders. No one, I mean it, no one will ever love you more than your parents. They always wish for your well-being and always give you a lot more than they can. Reach out high for your dreams, but still never leave the sight of the ground, of the place where you came from. Always be grateful to everyone who has played a role, no matter big or small, in helping you to achieve the best. A tree can only soar up high if it has roots embedded strongly in the ground.
13. Few words about our community?
Though I have come across this community recently but I would say you all are doing great. All the topics you have picked up for your write-ups, be it in your book Success Mantra or Tales for Teens are something that teenagers are facing now-a-days in one way or the other. So, kudos to you all! You guys are doing wonderful! ❤️
14. About your Interview experience?
It was really amazing. I had a really
good time with you all!
15. Would you like to join our community?
Yes, that definitely sounds a really good idea! I will definitely give it a thought.
Thank you for giving us your precious time
The pleasure is all mine❤❤
