This is sad and cute at the same time (no smut) bc i said so.

It was a cold October night. The chilly breeze hit a young boy's face, messing up his beautiful, long, ebony hair. He had longed to see his lover that night as they promised. The streets were empty, a cold and lonely place that could have looked abandoned. The thin scarf of the boy was no help either. He picked up the pace, not wanting to be late.

Finally, he reached a warm yellow light illuminating the dark corners of the area. It was Frank's house. He quickly dashed to the front door step. Ghosting his pale hand over the handle, contemplating if he wanted to do this again. Of course he wanted to! He was moving the next morning, after his mom found better paid job at another state. She also hadn't found out about how he was secretly in love with a boy since it would've got him in trouble.

He knocked, not wanting to intrude the house. He knocked once more, receiving no reply. The boy nearly gave up when he saw a face in the window beside the door, Frank's face. That beautiful smile that would squeeze your heart and those pretty pair of hazel eyes that sparkled when the other talked, or did anything.

Frank waved and beamed at him. Signaling him to come closer, the boy complied. Frank quietly opened the wooden door as it creaked rather loudly. He gave a toothy grin and let him inside.

"So, Gerard. We're spending this night together alone, for, well. Who knows, maybe the last time we will ever." Frank's hazel eyes glanced at Gerard's, shining lightly.

Gerard twinkled at him and took the other boy's hand in his. Rubbing over the knuckles lightly. Frank looked somewhat worried but Gerard reassured him by making circles on his palm which had turned over.

Frank beamed back. Maybe they weren't ever going to meet each other again but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't have the best time together. Even if it meant that it would be the last time they would ever be with each other.

They headed to the kitchen and Frank opened the cupboard. Pulling out 2 cans of soda. He offered one to Gerard but the latter declined politely. Frank shrugged and put it back, opening the other one. The two took a seat on the kitchen table's stools, talking. Blabbering mostly about how they met and things they used to do and places they used to go together. A single tear rolled down Gerard's face as dawn came closer. It was now 2 in the morning.

Frank noticed and brought Gerard's hand to his chest where his heart would be. Gerard faced him and smiled a bit, the latter returning the gesture of bringing. A sad silence stayed for a while.

The pair decided they would sleep together until the sun comes up. Not wanting to leave each other's arms. They weren't ready for this.

Frank brought both to his bedroom and opened the window a bit. Covering it with curtains so the snow wouldn't come in. Frank sat on his bed and opened his arms wide, welcoming a warm embrace for his boyfriend he would never see again. Gerard literally jumped to hug him back, sobs escaping his mouth silently.

Frank spooned him tightly, not wanting to let go. A melancholy quietness rose between the two. The older boy (Frank is older in this) silently hushed his lover, letting his fingers explore the other boy's dark raven hair. They both eventually fell to sleep.

The next morning, they bot bid their tearful goodbyes. Both broken hearted teens swore they would meet one day and reunite. Soon....
