Axey's POV

We were assigned to patrol the now lost city.
It seemed there was no more Reptilian spaceships on the sky here. Not in plain sight, at least. I checked the radar. Nope, nothing. I sighed as I watched from the main window of my cabin the now destroyed cities and buildings. There was no sign of what was a normal peaceful, loving society before. It was all destroyed now. I saw some of those lizzies fighting against our people.
Seeing the horrendous scenery below, I wondered, how Kay'la was doing? Flashbacks of beautiful cities back in Sirius A, surrounded by nature filled my mind. Different extraterrestrial races lived in peace and harmony. Any conflicts or arguments were easily solved. No fighting necessary. Wish all this would end soon... But well. That's how life it is sometimes.

Back to reality. A message popped in my head "guys, uhm, I need backup. Right now."

My sister Ali'ryn who was laying down back in one of the rooms (or so I thought) instantly teleported to me, staring at me. With one look we understood each other perfectly, so often words weren't needed.
I nodded and proceed to find a location so our beamship could land safely.

Telepathy was one of the great tools that helped us tremendously, not only in daily life, but in situations like these, where technology wasn't an option. It allowed us to send large amounts of information, not only messages, but also the current emotional state of the person we were talking to, their exact location, any pictures possible (imagined or not), and so much more.

"Kay'la, we're coming. Hold on."

Both Ali and I received an image of the situation. Dammit. I could feel her heart pumping like crazy.

We silently landed near a Reptilian spaceship, that's where Kay told us she was. I activated the invisible mode as my sister and I rushed outside with our phasers ready.

There she was. Beautiful as always. Even though both of us knew how she was feeling, she was trying to look calm and focused to regain mental clarity. I stared at her for a brief moment before looking at our surroundings to evaluate the situation. Ali'ryn was next to me, with the gun prepared for shooting at any moment, her feline cat ears straight up.

"Axey, I feel we are not alone"

"What do you mean? There's just one lizard. We will finish him off quickly."

"Oh really? You really think we are SO easy to beat?"

The reptilian turned around seeing us, and nodded, smirking. Three of them appeared behind us.

"Now this is surely going to get interesting" the lizard chuckled. I hissed.

Then everything happened very fast.

The lizard attacked Kay'la by shooting at her, but she quickly dodged the phaser by teleporting behind him. With a gentle tap on his right shoulder she made him turned around aggressively to shoot again, yet she used this exact moment to kick as hard as she could on his crotch area.

Kay'la's POV

The lizzie groaned in pain once he received the hit. I looked at Axey and his sister, surrounded by three of them. I had to think fast. The reptilian was already coming for me so I jumped at him, making him fall and landed near my friends, forming a triangle with our backs as we kept on defending ourselves.

"A little bit of a distraction won't hurt hahah. Now.. where were we?"

Ali'ryn took her phaser out. "Guys, on the count of three"
