Chapter 17

Abel comes back with some food and removes it in the containers. He then wakes up a tired Sarah and feeds her with the spoon. She also feeds him back. After their feeding session comes to an end, she haves juice and continues the left over her story.

Flashback :

One day, he was asking suggestions on presentation for his upcoming projects. I came near his table for serving his order, suddenly I interrupted their talk and suggested my idea to him. He stared at me for a long time. I placed the order and uttered a sorry and went in the dressing room. I was frightened thinking of losing the job. I went back to work. The manager wasn't that good with me as I wasn't the one who flirted with him, all others working there used to flirt with him except me. After a long time he came to my dressing room when I was about to leave. I asked him what is he doing here ? He said I am impressed with your suggestions, I want you to join the office, where I work. The boss would be happy if you join there. I asked my shift is finished now, let's meet tomorrow and talk. He asks where ? I said not here, any other restaurant. How to contact with you ? He asked me curiously. I said I don't have phone, so lets meet tomorrow outside this coffee shop, then from here we both will accompany each other and continue this talk. He agreed and left. That day I thought a lot about the job, as that job was a temporary one, I was replaced by a friend of mine. She was on leave due to her personal issues. As per the plan, Charles and I, met again, the next day. He said his boss is willing to offer a good amount of salary. I asked him when to come to office for an interview. He asked me to come tomorrow morning. I got my salary and left the job. I went for the interview and was shocked to see Charles as head. I didn't utter anything, just stared at him. He asks surprised ? I am happy that you agreed. You really impressed me. No interview as I already saw you. I am really looking forward to work with you, are you ? Yes I am, and he forwarded his hand for a hand shake. From there on I started working there studiously and there was no looking back. There he used to notice me daily. He used to give the salary before time and unnecessarily gives holidays. Two months passed and he started gifting me for no reason. Everyone in the office used to look suspiciously at him, but he didn't cared. There was a rule in his company, daily one member should stay till late night, like extra working hours, so that the work pressure is not on every one, it should be distributed among all the staff. One night, it was my chance to stay and work there till late night. I presented my ideas to him, describing it. He got up from his seat and came behind me. I was busy presenting my work to him, but he did the unthinkable. He hugged me from behind and started kissing my neck. I was startled by his behaviour. He then pulled me more closer to him and turned me around to kiss me on my lips. He came close to me and was about to kiss me, I moved back and slapped him hard on his left cheek. It was red now. I confronted him saying what was he trying to do. He may be a boss but what's this way to behave with a employee. I am here for work and not for romance, understood ? He confessed to me, I love you Sarah, I love you very, very much. Please agree to me, you can be the head of this office. All mine will belong yours and what all's yours will belong to me. I wanted to confess it long back, but thought I am hurrying, you was new here so I wanted to take it slow. Trust me I didn't wanted to propose you this way, but it happened !! Seeing you in this avatar, I just couldn't control myself, I wanted you badly, I wanted to kiss you passionately. I didn't agreed and walked away from there. It was all new for me, very new. I came to my house, thinking what happened just now, I didn't sleep the whole night. He called me many times, but I didn't receive it. I thought of living the job. And immediately wrote a resignation letter.

Abel's phone ringed. It was Charles who called him but he didn't answer the call.
