Life and Death

What's light without darkness?
What's life without death?
What's a tree without a seed?
The answer
May be surprising
But it's nothing
Light wouldn't be a thing
If we didn't have darkness
Just as
Life wouldn't be as precious
Without death
And a tree wouldn't exist
Without the seed

Sometimes bad things
Need to be present
For good things to happen
Just as good things happen
Even if the possibility
Of bad things will happen
Life is but a compromise
A ever swinging door
Of good and evil
Somethings can be justified
Others have no reason
To be what they are
Yet they are still here
To remind us
That no matter how good we are
Evil things will still happen
