Two days later, after she ambushed them in the castle's armor and weapons room, Dimitri and Lambert discover Byleth was brainwashed at some point after her abduction. After she is defeated, she hears Hubert's voice. "Come back to House Vestra so you can heal your wounds from the fight, my sweet puppet.", he tells her and she warps away. Dimitri is furious Hubert is treating Byleth like she is his puppet.
