After capturing Fort Mercues, the kingdom army moves on to Enbarr. After the chests are looted and all of the enemies are killed, Dimitri kills Hubert, causing Byleth's eyes to change back to the usual mint green. After a long battle at the palace with all of the enemies getting killed and all three of the chests getting looted, Dimitri's relic pierces Edelgard when she throws her dagger into his shoulder and he pulls it out, killing her in the process. He picks up her body so he can bury her. Before he follows the army, Dimitri buries Edelgard in the garden outside of the palace. When they finally make it back to House Blaiddyd, Dimitri and Byleth are greeted by Marigold. Jeralt is more than happy to see his daughter free. Rhea and the knights returned to the monastery. Four days later, the day of their coronation is here. Byleth is wearing a white dress with silver outlines while Dimitri has part of his hair pulled back into a ponytail and is wearing something different. Instead of the usual black, white and blue, Dimitri is wearing a full blue outfit with the fur coat he usually wears instead being blue and white. They walk into the cathedral, where all of the lords from former Alliance territory, the knights, the other former students, the church staff and the kingdom nobles are waiting. Also there were Marigold, Yuri's mother, Hapi's family, Leonie's father, Ignatz's family, Ashe's younger brother and younger sister, Raphael's grandfather and younger sister Maya, the mothers of Lorenz, Lysithea and Sylvain, Hilda's older brother Holst, Balthus' family, and Jeralt, who was holding Marigold in his arms. Rhea and Lambert were waiting at the altar. When Dimitri and Byleth reached the altar, they lowered themselves to their knees and closed their eyes, so the crowd turned to see the moment they are crowned king and queen. It happened, so they stand up and turn around to face the crowd, all of whom begin cheering. Because Marigold inherited her father's blood, she is Princess Marigold Isabella Blaiddyd of Fargheus, something she didn't know until now. Her parents decide to leave her a only child, much to the surprise of their fathers. Thirteen long years later, she is crowned queen and becomes Queen Marigold of Fargheus. The end.
