That Thursday, I was in Charms class, once again having to sit next to Malfoy, and today he was acting especially cocky. I was already irritated about Defense Against the Dark Arts and not being to learn anything actually useful since the school year started. Which just made his pointless babbling with his friends especially annoying. I tried my hardest to complete the assigned reading, but his constant feeling of having to run his mouth all class period made me want to scream.

"Do you ever shut up, Malfoy?" I asked, I was passed visibly angry. He turned to look at me, sliding his arm on the back of my chair. His bleach blonde strands dangle over his face as if he had intended it to look that way. He snickered evilly, trying to come up with something to say next.

"Make me," he said. He earned a couple of laughs from the Slytherin boys surrounding him. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his remark. All this ever is to him is game.

"In your dreams," I muttered as I tried to avoid eye contact. I waited for him to respond, his loss for words that obviously didn't come from what I said. I saw his mouth slightly part open when he looked down at my body. His face was shocked, he looked in absolute disbelief.

"What are you wearing?" He interrogated me. His face curled, and he gave me a look of disgust. My robe slid back a little revealing what I was wearing underneath. I look down to see that I was still bearing Harry's loose fitted jumper from the Sunday trip to Diagon Alley.

"What? It's just a sweater." I said blankly.

"Take it off." He said sternly. I tilted my head at the way he was acting.

"Ew no," I exclaimed.

"I'm serious," he insisted. His tone was darker and the smile began to leave his face. He looked down at the sweater and back at me, the stern look never leaving his face. He couldn't be serious.

"Stop Malfoy," I tried to get him to stop bringing so much attention to us.

"Who's is it then?" He leaned back and the smile returned to his face. He spoke louder in order to gain the attention of his fellow classmates. He loved to make a scene, but I could never tell why.

"Why do you care?" I asked. I turned towards him in my seat and crossed my arms.

"I bet it's the orphan's," he snickered and turned to his buddies, signaling them to laugh along. They didn't have to say much to see they were talking about Harry. I tried my hardest to keep my face neutral, but I've never had a poker face. He picked up on this and began to tease once more.

"Aww, the princess has a crush on the all-mighty chosen one. I hate being the one to break it to you, but he doesn't like you. Every other girl that walks passed him is awed by the idea of him, what makes you so special?"

"Shut the hell up," I said quietly. I clenched my jaw and my increased heart rate became more noticeable. The piercing sound of his laughed ached me to my core, fueling my rage even more.

"No, but really, who wouldn't use that kind of power to fuck all the girls they want?" He leaned in close and made a face, ensuring I'd get pissed about his obnoxious behavior.

"Fuck you," I growled. I clutched the white collar of his undershirt and pulled him close to my face. In my other hand, I held my wand. I pressed it into his throat as my mind flooded with all the things I could do to him. I couldn't help but think about using the Crucuiatus Curse my father taught me over the summer. It was highly illegal, but the thought of torturing him into insanity wouldn't escape my mind.

"No please, don't hurt me," He cried. His overdramatic act was just another way to belittle me even further. Before muttering the words, I had leveled with myself. I was in school, and using an Unforgivable Curse was just a one-way ticket to getting me expelled. I gathered a deep breath and slowly let go of his collar. He backed away slowly, and his smile returned to his face. The self-loathing look of satisfaction was enough for me to go off again. I hesitated to pick up my bag and storm out of the class. Before sharing a look with my surrounding classmates looking up at me with a surprised look.

I toured around to school, trying to let off steam before we'd have to go to dinner in a couple of hours. I made my way down to the lake and sat alone, trying to get my thoughts together. Thinking about using that curse was one of the scariest things ever. Letting my mind go to dark places like that isn't okay. I often worry about becoming my parents almost daily and even considering that was unbearable.

The sound of crunching leaves began to fill my ears, causing my head to snap around. I was shocked to see Harry's apologetic face greet me. He kept his head down and his hands in his pockets as he slowly approached me. The cool wind blew in my face causing me to push a few strands behind my ear.

"Neville told me about what happened in your charms class today, I wanted to see if you were okay." He said. He stood in front of me and looked down to me. I could tell he was upset by what happened, then though he wasnt there. He was concerned, and that was a good feeling knowing that he cared so

"It's nothing, he's just annoying

"He said it was really serious

"I guess, he doesn't know what he's talking about

"Can I sit?

"He also told me what he said, I just wanted to let you know I never thought of you like that. Please don't let anything that he says get into your head. You are so much more special than all that superficial stuff." He said softly

"Thank you, Harry,

"For what?

"Just being here, you've always been so kind. I admire that about you, I always have.

"Is that the lovebirds I see?

"Malfoy, what a sight for sore eyes

"Get lost, haven't you had enough already?

"Never is enough when it comes to you, princess

"Stop calling me that

" You think you can just threaten me without any consequences

"Don't do this Malfoy,"

"Do what, this?

"stupefy"
