Betty and Archie walked into school together, Betty makes eye contact with jughead and she is instantly filled with butterflies, her cheeks flushed with a light coverage of pink but is quickly died down when she sees a girl she isn't familiar with throwing her arms around his shoulder and messes up his hair and walks away with him. But she doesn't have the rights to be mad right?

Betty walks into her first class which she has with jughead, she sees the girl and him talking. What are they talking about? He's laughing..why is he laughing!? how can he sit there and look so perfect? She thought. She walked to her set and sat down, gazing back at them here and there.  "Good morning class! Today we have a new student Veronica Luna who is all the way from New York City. Veronica would you stand up and tell us more about you?" The teacher said. Veronica that's her name. She thought. "Hello I am Veronica Luna, and like miss.Hilton said I am from New York, my mother owns the biggest brand at New York currently and my father is a business man which is why I moved to riverdale to stay with my dear cousin Kimberly" she said looking down at Kimber "anyway I'm not new to this town I've came to visit a few times in the past but I can't wait to find out the deep hidden mystery's of this town" she says as every clapped and welcomed her. She's something. Betty thought letting out a sigh before clapping her hands.

"What do you think about your first day of school?" Jughead asked Veronica as they walked to lunch together, "pretty good everyone is very welcoming and friendly" Veronica as jughead smiles "that's good, hey do you need a job?" Jughead asks her walking in front of her and walked backwards so he could still talk to her. "Yea I do why?" She asked "well me and my dad have been needing some extra hands on our shop, it's a family business but Kimber is like family to us which would make you family to us so, why don't you come and help us at the Jones Grocery Shop" Jughead explains as Veronica stops walking making jughead stop and look at her confused "what? You don't have to" jughead says "no..I think it's a wonderful idea, thank you jughead" Veronica says "your welcome oh hey! I'll come to your locker and we can walk to the shop together" jughead says as she nods her head. "Hey lovebirds" jughead says sitting at the lunch table, "hey dickhead" Kyle says as kimber punches his arm "stop with the names!" She said "yea asshat" Jughead says as kimber punches jugheads arm as both jughead and Kyle laugh.

After school jughead walked up to Veronica's locker, "hey" he says as she closes her locker "hey" she says "ready to go?" He asks her "yup!" She says as he smiles and walks out, jughead walks past betty both making eye contact but was interrupted by Archie calling for betty. Jughead looks away and focuses on Veronica. "Also.. there's a new movie coming out this tonight and we close at 7pm today and the movie starts at 8  and maybe..maybe you'd like to come with me?" Jughead asked as Veronica smiles "I'd love to" she says.
They had arrived to the shop, "hey dad" jughead says "hey boy- oh Veronica! Great it's really you back in town!" Fp says walking over to hug Veronica as she hugs back, "how long are you staying?" Fp asks her "oh here you go"Fp says and hands her a cup of hot chocolate, "thank you!, uh I'm staying hopefully for the rest of 12th grade" Veronica says as Fp smiles "that's great!" Fp says "oh uh dad, I figured that since we need extra help here on the ship Veronica could help?" Jughead ask taking a sip of his hot chocolate, "well I don't see why not, Veronica you can work night shift with jug and doing restock with jug as well if that's alright with you" Fp says with a chuckle as Veronica smiles "I Veronica Luna accept!" She says as Fp and jughead laugh. "Well In that case you can start today, I need to pick up JB from school right now anyway so uh..jughead you show her around and show how we Jones rule around her and be respectful" Fp says "he always is mr.jones" Veronica replies as jughead turns and smiles at her "uh dad why do guy have to pick up JB?" Jughead asks "I was told that she has slipped out side during free time and broke her ankle so we will find out if she broke it or not" Fp said putting his jacket on and walked out.
"Ma and Pa won't like that" jughead says with a laugh as Veronica laughs with him.
