2 months has gone by Veronica is doing better but still has not call jughead. She left him with out a word.
Jughead still calls her every night leaving a message for 61 days, and Veronica would sit on the roof top of her apartment and listen to every single one voicemail for 61days. He'd always sneak a bit about how much he cares for Betty in there but would always end it with "I love you Ronnie, call me back..I know your listening to these so please call back...good night" was what he said at the end of each and everyone of his voicemails.

Meanwhile betty has gotten much closer with jughead and the both of them talking more and more but also falling harder and deeper for each other.

"Betty" jughead says walking in "jug" she says as he smiles "here is yours" he says setting her coffee down on the table. "Thank you" she says as he sits down "what are you working on?" Jughead ask "last minute stuff for my assignment" betty says as jughead nods his head.

"Come back home Veronica me, Kyle and jughead we all miss you" Kimber says on her phone at her locker
"I can't" Veronica says I'm her office working
"Why?" Kimber ask shutting her locker and leaning against it.
"Because I just can't, will my family business and jughead loving betty and not me..it's too much.." Veronica confesses "Ronnie.."
"I don't want to come back when jughead is happy with Betty..I don't want to be that bitch in every romantic story that ruins two people who are meant to be I can't and I won't" Veronica says on the other end "Ronnie please..just come home to me! Say your goodbyes properly to him instead of just disappearing without a trace. Do you even realize how much you hurt him when you left? The moment we told him that you had left I saw the hurt in his eyes the pain. You want to walk away, do it properly for both you and him. Don't leave this story unfinished" Kimber says as Veronica hangs up. As Kimber let's out a groan. "Whoa whoa bebe you okay?" Kyle ask "Veronica is being stubborn..again.." Kimber says "it's okay..she'll come around" Kyle says as Kimber nods her head.

Veronica hangs up and puts her phone down and looks up and let's out a sigh before sniffing and continuing to type down.

"Still no answer?" Betty asked him as jughead looks up from his phone "no..nothing.." jughead says "go to her then" betty says looking at her screen "what?" Jughead says with a chuckle "if you really wanted to talk to her you'd go after her, but you're still here so do you really want to talk to her?" Betty says looking at him "o-of course i want to talk to her but..it's Veronica. You don't know her like I do if she wanted to talk she'd come to me and pick up my phone calls and clearly right now she's doesn't but I'll still try and I will continue to try because friends don't give up on each other" jughead says "friends..what if that's why she's ignoring you? Because you two are just friends" betty says with smile "just friends? What do you mean?" Jughead says making a confused face. "God boys are really blind when it comes to this kind of stuff. She's in love with you jug, and clearly you aren't in love with her back and she sees it" betty says with a laugh as jughead looks down and looks back up and nervously chuckles "n-no she doesn't..a-any way tell me about this assignment to goof" jughead says scooting his chair closer to her's.

"Mija sweetheart where are you going?" Hiram asked "Kimber's" Veronica says "so soon? You just got here" "I know daddy, but..there is som unfinished business for me to deal with before I come back home" Veronica says as hiram nods his head "well then..I'll have Iven escort you. I've a safe flight Mija, remember I'm only one call away, I'll see you soon" he says and kissed her head "I'll see you soon too, I'll call you when I land" she says and picks up her suit cases and walks out.

4 hours later
Jughead and Betty were at Jugheads trailer watching a movie with FP and jellybean.
"Oh my god!!!" Jellybean groans and throws popcorn at the screen as jughead Betty and fp laughs. "She's so stupid!!!!" She says and stands up "where are you going?" Fp ask "more popcorn" she says standing up just as the door rung "got it" Fp says getting up and walking over to the door.
"You remember when we first met?" Betty asked as jughead looks besides him "the cash register" jughead says with a smile as betty smiles and nods her head "I remember being so in love with those beautiful eyes you still have" betty says as jughead chuckles "yea?" He says "yea" she says as he chuckles "I remember adoring you as a whole, you were seriously the cutest 10 year old I ever saw" jughead says as betty giggles "am I still the cutest or has that changed?" Betty says jokingly as jughead looks at her "nothing has changed besides the fact that we are now talking..you are still the cutest person I've ever seen" jughead says as betty smiles.they both slowly began to lean in when Fp walks into the room. "Hey jug someone's at the door for you" Fp says as they pulled away quickly. "I'll be back" jughead says as betty smiles and nods.

Jughead gets up and walks over to the door and looks up. "Ronnie.." jughead says breathless. His jaw dropped and his eyes widen. "C-come in" jughead says as she shakes her head "n-no..Thanks.." she says "o-okay" he says and grabs his coat and shoes and walks out. They sat down on the front steps of his house. "W-why did you leave without telling me?" Jughead ask as Veronica looks away. "Don't make fun of me okay?" She says "I won't..I promise" he says as she turns and looks at him. "I grew to fall in love with you" she says as the words betty had said came rushing back to him. "And I was Afraid...I was Afraid of loving you and I knew how much you love Betty and I didn't want to be the person who stood between two people who are meant to be. And I thought walking away would make the feelings how away..but they didn't..it hurt me more and it made me love you more.." Veronica says as jughead looks at her "why are you here? Now? Why did you show up now? After 2 months your back because you love me? Bull!" Jughead says upset as Veronica eyes filled with tears she took out a necklace he had given her on her 13th birthday as a sign of love. She opens his hands and rest it on the palms of his hand. "No..I'm here to finish chapter 10. I'm here to finish our book. I'm here to say goodbye properly. Because I know I never will and never had stood a chance. And as much as I love you and care for you and wish to be with you. Every story comes to an end weather it's a happy or sad ending..they all come to an end. I love you, but don't love me back so. Take my love and go love the women you are meant to be with.." Veronica says and blanks down a tear and closes his hands and stood up and walks away as jughead stood up and ran after her.

"Veronica!" He shouts as she walks to her car. "That's it!? That's all? After 2 months of trying to reach you that's it!? A goodbye?" Jughead says painfully as Veronica gets in her car. "Good bye" she says as jughead runs up and tries to open her door. "Veronica!" He says as she drives off. He tries to run after the car down the block. He stops and watches her drive out of his life once again but for good this time. Breathing heavily he stands there confused and hurt. He looks down at his hand to see the necklace that had tied and kept their friendship together. Tears forms in his eyes. He looks back up and her car was gone. He wipes his tears away with the back of his hand and walks back.

The doors open and Betty's head turns and jughead walks in and closes the door and stares into the distance. "Hey it's getting to the good part in the movie want to watch?" Betty ask as jughead looks over and smiles slightly and shook his head "no it's okay you guys go ahead and watch, I have a bite of a headache so I'm gonna go lie down" jughead says and asks to his room. he sits down on his looking down at the necklace as betty knocks at his door "hey you okay?" She asked him "Yea..yea I'm good" he says as she sat down besides him. "Are you sure?" Betty ask "well..you were right..she was in love with me.." jughead says as betty looks at him "oh.." "yea..she came back.." jughead says as betty smiles "that's good!" Betty says as jughead shakes his head 'no' "she came back to say goodbye properly.." jughead says as Betty's eyes land on the necklace in his hands. Jughead reaches into his nightstand and
Pulled out the other half of the heart and connected them. "She gave it back.." jughead says "I'm sorry" Betty says as jughead softly chuckles and puts both of the necklaces into the drawer carefully. "I am too..but I'm glad..I spent a once in a life time of a good 10 years with her the memories may bring pain but what we had will not and should not live in vein. Although I feel like there are some untold chapters in our book. It's time to put it on the shelf and move on..slowly of course" jughead says with a little chuckle as betty smiles "are you sure you are okay?" Betty ask him as he laughs but his laughs fades and slowly turns into little whimpers. "I'm fine" he manages to saw as betty cups his face and forces him to look at her "you and I will get through this..slowly..day by day.. you were there for me when I needed you and I I will be there for you when you need me. We are in this together" betty says as jughead smiles "okay" he says as she smiles and lies her head on his shoulder as he lays his head on top of hers their fingers interlocked.
