The Starlit Singing Night

Chapter 1: The concert

        The air was cool and crisp as Len Kagamine and his twin sister Rin walked about the city they were visiting. The city shined with all the lights of the buildings and stars. They laughed and smiles as the shopped. Once they were finishes looking around, hand in hand, they walked back to their hotel room. "That was so much fun Len! I wish we could stay for longer. Its to bad we have to leave soon." Rin said, staring out the window. Len sighed and nodded. "Yes, this city is so pretty. But there are many other places we can go see. Anyways its time to sleep. The concert is tomorrow." Rin nodded and climbed into the first bed. Len in the second. As they slept, the faint sounds of the city played on repeat over, and over...

        The morning sun shinned through the windows, neither woke. Another hour passed. Still no sign of them waking. A knock was heard at the door, followed by someone kicking it down. "Morning twin-y-kins!" said the ultra happy, Miku Hatsune. "Come on! Wake up! Wake up!" she said to the now startled and awake twins. "What the heck Miku its like-" Len started and looked over at the clock then jumped up. "Almost twelve in the afternoon! Rin get up and get dressed!" Len paniced and ran around the room like a little whirlwind tornado. Rin followed in pursuit. In no time they were both dressed and ready. All three ran out of the hotel room, hoping to make it to the concert hall in time.

        Just in time! All three ran inside the building just before the pre-show started. They sat at the tables and did autographs and interviews. Half way into the fan meet up, Len began to feel..dizzy as if the world was spinning. He stood and excused himself then went to his dressing room. Leaning against the bar, he looked up at the mirror. His vision blurry and disoriented. He sighed and laid down on the couch. "Maybe I just need a nap." He said to himself as he found himself drifting to sleep without his consent.

        Several hours later he was awoken by a small shake. "Len? Len wake up its time for the concert!" Len could barely make out what was being said to him. He opened his eyes and tried to focus on the mass of blonde hair above him. "Oh hey Rin." He said and sat up, rubbing his head. "Come on sleepy head! Its time to go and perform!" Rin smiled then bounced off. Len sighed and stood. He felt much better and walked out of the room and out to the wings of the stage. Fans cheered and screamed his name. He smiled at the sound of it, the lights, the music. It was all so pretty. Rin bounced up from behind him. "Hi Len!" she smiled. "Its almost time to go on stage!" Just as that was said, the stage manager quickly hustled them to the stage. The show began.

         The light shinned on his face, he smiled. Everything was right with the world. He began to sing but something was off. He couldn't tell what though. He continued. After a few songs, he began to get dizzy once again. He tried to make sure no one could tell and kept going. But his vision began to blur again, but this time it began to darken. As if someone was dimming the lights, but he kept on. Dancing and singing for the fans. All of the sudden, everything started to fade out. He couldn't hear, he couldn't see, he began to panic. "Whats wrong with me?!" He thought to himself. Then he lost control of his body, collapsing on stage. Completely unconscious...
