I have never been a cautious person, after moving eight times you start to look forward to new adventures. Every move was a new opportunity to make new memories, have new experiences, you  get really good at making new friends, and meeting new people. Of course its always hard to leave your current friends, and life behind. The first time I moved was back in grade four, I remember it felt like my whole world was collapsing around me. These kids I had known my whole life were now being ripped away, but then I moved. I made new friends and loved them just as much, I cant imagine where I would be if I had stayed in that town my whole life, and honestly I don't want to know.

Which leads me to my life moto, if you're already there you might as well make it a good memory. Which I make sure to do, its gotten me into some pretty bazar things, like when I skinny dipped in the lake one winter, bungy jumped, swung on the tallest swing in the world, kissed a stranger, planted a tree, climbed a mountain, and scuba dived. I want to be able to have done everything, make great memories so when I look back I don't fell like I missed anything in my life. Sure moving to a small town with only one swimming pool, and a mall with ten stores, might seem boring but I'm sure I'll find loads of things to do.

At least that's what I hope, today being my first day at school was exciting. We had moved here yesterday, and settled in as much as we could and now officially was my first day. My father had gotten a job offer here, and just like me he hates being in one place too long so he moved right away when the offer came. My mother was still back in the old house finishing up some renovation to sell the house and getting ready to come down here with us. It hopefully wouldn't be more than a month but you never know with this kind of stuff, anything can change and all the plans are useless. I had woken up late today, which wasn't great for  my first day, plus I hadn't been able to get a tour of the school since we had moved last minute, and in the middle of the school year. I have my license so I was looking forward to driving to school, nothing feels better than the freedom of driving. The school was a lot smaller than I had expected, and the inside felt even smaller than how it looked on the outside. The office was to the right of the front doors so I headed over, the secretary was an older lady in her late fifties. She had brown hair that was starting to gray at the roots, and thin lips with bright red lipstick. She had a bit of mascara smeared on her eye lid and wore a green cardigan with a white top and jeans.

"Hello, I'm Scott Lancaster, I am transferring her today." I explained, her attention turned to me. She sucked her lips in, as she turned to the computer and scanned the screen.

"Ah, Scott here you are." She said looking back to me with a smile. "One second let me print off your schedule and I'll walk you to your first class."

"Thanks" I called out as she disappeared into the room behind her to grab the printout. The door to the left of me opened, and I watched a tall boy walk out of the councilors office, he had fair skin with straight jet black hair and vibrant green eyes. He was really attractive, the classic bad boy vibes. To be honest I never really got the hype but looking at him I could get on board. Just by how he walked put of the room I could tell he had a lot of confidence.

"Apollyon dear, how are you?" The secretary asked, surprising me. I hadn't seen her leave the room, the boy turned to her and gave a full smile. Flashing his dimples and straight teeth.

"Good, Mrs. Martin just wanted to have a talk. How are you?" He was soft spoken, and it didn't fit his image at all. He talked like he was reserved, or shy.

"I'm very well, now you get along to class we don't want you missing anything important." She said with a laugh, as he walked away. She then turned his attention back to me, "Would you like me to show you your locker first?"

"Yes please, although when we called before I was told I wouldn't have one, or I would have to fine someone to share a locker."

"Actually do to an unfortunate circumstance we do have a locker available for you" Before I could ask her what had happened, she continued. "Anywho, let me show you the way"
