Chapter 2

I looked around the gate when I got off and spotted my dad almost right away. I threw my backpack onto my shoulder. I ran and jumped onto my dad, and started smiling like crazy. "I've missed you so much, dad" My dad laughed "You're gettin' a little too big for me Pais, but I missed you too."

We picked up my luggage and headed out the doors of the airport. On the car ride there, my dad filled me in on his new job, new dog, new house, new everything, basically. As we pulled into the driveway, I noticed the house was a lot better looking than the last one. We took all my luggage out the trunk, and dragged them inside the house. As I walked in, almost immediately, I noticed the beach right outside the window. I gasped. He laughed, "Did I tell you we got a beach house Pais?"

As my dad showed me around the house I noticed a picture frame on the wall. "Dad, did you um... remarry?"
My dad's eyes opened wide, "no, no, no Pais, that's your new step-aunt. She's going to be taking care of you while me and Karen are gone."

We turned to the right and entered a huge room with a gorgeous view of the beach outside the window. "Pais, this is your room. I really hope you like it, Karen and I decided on it." I nodded my head.

"Where even is Karen?" Karen's my stepmom, and has been since I was 9, around 7 years ago. "She's at work and should be back within an hour or two." I just nodded my head, again.

"You know Pais, you can explore the neighborhood if you'd like. There's a boy next door named, Jack, I could have him show you around if you'd like?"

"Umm, sure? There's nothing much to a neighborhood though?" My dad grinned "See that's where you're wrong, this neighborhood, is different, and much more beautiful than ordinary ones. But I'll be right back, I'm going to go get Jack, I think you'd like him."

I slowly gazed at the room and admired it's beauty. It had a beautiful bed with orange, blue, and green pillows, and a big closet to the left of it. I peeked my head in a little bit.

I jumped "Pais, I was saving the closet for last. did you see much?" He frowned. "No, I only saw a little, but not much. Is the neighbor boy going to give me a tour?" He nodded his head "He's downstairs waiting for you right now... you might want to hurry"

I ran downstairs and there he was. Oh god, he was hot. His dimples were the cutest and deepest dimples I had ever seen in my life. His eyes were so blue, they could make any girl melt. I couldn't take my eyes off him. As soon as I looked at him I gave him an awkward grin. He smiled, "You ready for your tour?"
