Chapter 7

Paisley's POV:

I woke up in Jack's arms smiling. I looked up to him, with his mouth open, and him lightly snoring. I smiled and poked his dimple. He's absolutely adorable. I slithered out from underneath his arms and wrote a note.

"Jack, I'm going back to my house. I'll see you later today at 5. I have a surprise for you!
p.s. wear a tux!
Love, Paisley :)"

I stuck the note right on his forehead and giggled. I tip toed out of his room, down the stairs, and walked out the front door. I honestly haven't been spending very much time in my house, so I barely know how to sneak in. I tried peeking through the front door window and didn't see anybody. I mischievously grinned and opened the door.

As I walked in, someone was sitting on a stool at the island counter. She was eating a blueberry muffin, looked over at me with wide eyes and said, "You must be Paisley! I've been here for a couple days but I haven't been seeing you?"

I grinned awkwardly and said, "Yeah, I've been out with someone I know for the past couple days... what's your name? And who are you...?"

She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth and said, "I'm your step-aunt, but my name's Melissa." I nodded my head, "Do you know where my dad is?"

She furrowed her eyebrows and had a surprised look on her face. "Oh, he didn't tell you, did he? Well your dad and Karen went on vacation and left me in charge!" I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Of course he did. Without me."

I raised my eyebrows and said, "Well, I'm just going to go upstairs. Oh, and if a boy comes knocking on the door around 5, send him up to my room?" Melissa nodded her head smiled.

When I walked in my room, I saw a note on my closet door.

"Paisley,
Hope you like my present.
Dad."

Confused, I picked up the note and threw it in the trash. I'm getting ready for Jack and I's date tonight. I opened up the closet to see what to wear. Didn't my dad tell me not to open it? Oh well.

As I opened it I gasped. There were billions of clothes on racks everywhere. It was a walk in closet, and it was HUGE. Did my dad do this for me? I grinned and picked out my outfit. I picked a white lace dress that went up to my knees, and black pumps.

I smiled at myself in the mirror, and looked around in the closet, hoping to see a vanity too. As I started wandering around, I found one. Finally. I went back to my bedroom, grabbed my makeup bag, and headed toward the vanity.

Jack's POV:

I woke up to see that Paisley wasn't in my bed. I frowned and felt something weird on my forehead. I took it off and read it. I smiled, and put it on my bedside table.

I got out of bed and headed downstairs. I opened the fridge and looked around for some food. I found some waffles- probably from my mom this morning. I checked the time and realized it was 2:30. I sighed, thank god I didn't wake up at the usual time I do, otherwise I would've been late by now.

When I got upstairs I looked around for my tux. I tried it on to make sure it fit, since I haven't worn it for around a year. I smirked and realized I was the same size, as usual.

I checked myself out in the mirror for around 30 mins until I realized that I needed to get ready for Paisley. I sighed, took off the tux, and got in the shower. I couldn't wait. I needed something special to give when I see her.

Paisley's POV:

As I finished putting red lipstick on me, I heard the doorbell ring. Must be Jack. I smiled, took my nude purse, and headed downstairs. I peeked down the staircase and saw Jack, in a suit and tie. Damn, he looked better than I imagined. I walked down the staircase, purposely like a supermodel and smirked.

Jack was practically drooling over me. I walked over to him, and smiled. "You ready to go, Jackie Chan?", I winked. He gave me a glare and said "Bruh." I smiled. It was gonna be a good night with this loser.

Hey! Sorry I haven't been updating lately, I've been kinda busy. But, I decided on continuing this book. And just incase you're wondering what Paisley's closet looks like, it shows it in the beginning!
