Chapter 3

I grinned as Jack closed my front door behind me. I was liking what I saw so far. "So, what's your name?" I sighed, "I'm Paisley, Pais for short." He grinned

"ah, well I'm Jack. How old are you Paisley?" I kicked a pebble while we were walking. "I just turned 16 about a week ago. Just wondering, but where are we headed?" "Well, miss Paisley, that is a surprise that we'll just have to find out" he winked. I grinned. How could a human be this gorgeous? I slowly looked up at him as we were walking. His braces were shining in the sunlight. As we were walking I wasn't even paying attention because of him.

Jack grinned "aaand we're here!" I furrowed my eyebrows. "...What are we doing here? I thought we were going on a tour? Not to some beach party?..." Jack grinned and giggled "I'm welcoming you to the neighborhood, relax!"

I started heavily breathing "My dad would kill me if he knew I were here! Can't we just, go back?" Jack shook his head "I don't think so, Pais. You don't even know the way back. And you need to chill, alright you're okay, your dad won't find you here. It's a private beach."

I rolled my eyes. "We're only staying until 8, and that's it. If we stay any later, I swear I'll..." Jack widened his eyes "You'll what? Loosen up, it's a party, have fun. I guarantee your dad would let you party a little. He seems like a cool guy." If only he knew him like I did. "I'm gonna go hang with my friends,"

Jack turned around and motioned toward some girls. Jack said coolly, "Madison, Emily, this is Paisley." I nodded my head at them and said hey. Madison turned toward Jack and said, "Babe, who's she? You better not be cheating on me with her." Oh hell no. He had a girlfriend? And he didn't tell me? What a fucking loser.

"Maddie, she's just my new neighbor. I'm sure you guys will get along just fine. Oh and uh, Paisley, I'll be back in like, an hour."
"Where are you going now?" I huffed
"No where, that's just what time we're leaving to go back"

I smiled nicely at Emily and Maddie.
Emily seemed super nice and perky. She grinned, "Hey, I'm Emily are you from around here?" I just shook my head no, and she nodded her head. "I guess I'll just show you around then!"
