The sky was dark and was filled with oceans of gloomy gray clouds. Thunder roared above, warning creatures below of heavy rain that is to come. "Ouch!" The small animal grunted as they took a step backward, looking at their paw as little oozes of red bled out. Their emerald eyes saddened looking at their paw as the crimson liquid stained their dirty white and beige colored fur, reminding them that there was no way home now, nor was there any home to return to.
The clouds above roared once again, frightening the little pup in the middle of the forest. They looked left and right, trying to find some shelter from the rain that is to come. They walked forward, still searching for a roof over her head. As they were moving forward, a droplet fell on their nose. They were confused for a moment until the sky began pouring cold rain. They were frantically looking left and right for a place to take shelter and their eyes finally landed on a burrow under a tree.
With their injured foot, they ran as fast as they could to that small hole, tripping over roots along the way. The small pup made haste hiding under the protection of the tree as the sky roared, telling them to quicken their pace. The burrow was dark and unwelcoming, but it was warm enough to shelter them for the night.
The small white pup watched as the sky cried its tears and small creatures run around the forest looking for shelter. They sighed, exhausted. Fluttering their eyes closed, they drifted to sleep.
The sky was a hue of orange and purple, slowly darkening its color into blue. The PAW Patrol was in the forest on a camping trip, enjoying themselves with outdoor games. Ryder watched them with a smile on his face as he wrote in his notebook.
"Marshall! Catch!" Chase exclaimed as he threw the disk towards his Dalmatian friend, who in return, jumped and caught the red disk in his mouth. He muffled, "got it!" smiling at his success to not trip over. "Skye!" He exclaimed throwing the disk and passing it to the female. The cockapoo, in return, jumped and caught the disk while doing a flip. "Awesome move, Skye!" Chase complimented, smiling towards the smaller pup. The female smiled back, enthusiastically replying, "thanks!"
"Pups! Dinner!" Ryder called, taking out a pack of marshmallows and beside him were sticks. The pups smiled and raced to get their marshmallows so they could cook it by the heat of the fire.
The sky darkened completely and the pups were all singing a song around the fire, smiling as they ate sticky marshmallows.
"And we dance all night
To the best song ever!
We knew every line
Now I can't remember
How it goes, but I know
That I won't forget her
Cause we danced all night
To the best song ever!
I think it went oh, oh, oh!
I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah!
I think it goes... Woohoo!"
The pups and Ryder laughed as they sang the song, enjoying their little quality time with each other. "Any more songs?" Ryder asked, looking expectantly at the pups around him. "Enough songs!" Rocky said, excitedly standing up with a smug smirk plastered on his face, "let's tell scary stories!"
"S-scary s-stories? Like... Like g-ghosts?!" Rubble asked, shivering in fear. He jumped out of his seat when he heard the crackle of the fire and hid behind Ryder. Rocky chuckled by the young fearful pup and decided to go on. "Not just any ghost... Rumors had it that this place is being haunted by the Forest Hound," Rocky said, trying to scare the other pups.
