Part nine

Maya's POV

We arrive at this pharmacy type place and we head in with our guns ready to shoot. No walkers. "Just tell me when your ready to leave" Daryl says. I go to the women's health section and find a pregnancy test. I pick it up and hold it in my hand. I can't be pregnant, I-I just can't. Whatever I'll take it anyway. I put it in my bag when I see something in the corner of my eye. Abortion pills. I start to cry a bit but then wipe the tears away. How could I ever bring a baby into this world, I'm only 14. I'll take the pills with me, just to be safe just incase I am pregnant.

"I'm ready, Dar-" a walker comes up behind me and grabs my shoulder, but I quickly stab it in the head. "Shit! We gotta go" I say. There's at least 20 of them coming at us. "Come on, out the back door!" Daryl yells. We run out the back door but there are a few walkers in our way. We take them out then circle back to the front of the store and hop onto Daryl's motorcycle and head back to the prison.

We arrive back at the prison and I see Carl running towards me. I stand up and try not to make eye contact with him. "Where the hell have you been?" He screams. "I was just on a run. No big deal." I say walking past him. I'm a little pissed off at him. Ya I know I should of told him, but if I'm pregnant that was some payback. Carl grabs my hand and turns me around. "No big deal! Something could have happened to you Maya. You would of said good bye, or at least told me you were leaving."

"I'm sorry Carl" I say hugging him as I start crying. I'm breaking down. I should of told him,he cares about me so much and I care about him too. What if something did happen. I shouldn't be totally mad at Carl though , if I am pregnant it's not all his fault. I should of been smarter and used protection, or at least waited a couple more years. I'm 14! I shouldn't be having sex.

At this point... I have no idea what to do.
