Hi! So this Chapter is written by MrsAlexisBieber and edited by yours truly.

In L.A., snow rarely appear during winter. Yes, we might experience cold weather, but snow is rare. But despite that fact, the residents always find a way to bring snow into our home. Officials would get a big snow cone maker and shower the place with artificial snows.

It might not be real, but it's all what we can get.

As a child, I was brought up in Canada and experienced snow falling down onto my head, bringing me happiness at such weather. But that all stopped when I moved here in Los Angeles.

I haven't seen real snow since then. And every time Christmas neared, artificial snow make an appearance and bring me the feel of being back home. It might not be much to anyone, but it means a lot to a kid like me.

"Hey, I guess I'll say see you when I see you, chica," Reychel said from beside me. We already reached the sidewalk and had to walk separately since the café and where she's headed is opposite.

I gave her a side hug. "Sure, I'll see you when I see you," I murmured and squeezed her. "Be careful on the way home," I told her.

"Yes, ma'am," she answered and giggled. "Likewise," she winked and kissed my cheek before waving goodbye and left to the opposite direction.

I sighed and headed to Starbucks. I was taking guesses of course. But Justin had mentioned to have a coffee and took the risk. Besides, Starbucks was the nearest coffee shop of sort in the area.

Next to the sidewalk is a front liner of pine trees—or Christmas tree, whichever name you preferred—planted on a plant box that ran to the length of the street. The smell of the trees greeted my nostrils and had me smiling.

I was looking around and noticed a person leaning up against the wall; one foot supporting his weight, the other propped against the cemented wall.

He looked up just in time that I neared him.

"Hey, Alexis right?" Justin Bieber said, his eyes squinting to see my face.

I nodded my head. "Sure," I mumbled and stuffed my hands into my pockets. It was below 50 degrees out there and had me shaken up a bit.

"Let's go then," he told me with a smile on his face, his hand gesturing for us to go ahead.

Starbucks was not packed, but definitely not empty either. And to lessen the percentage of being bombarded with fans, Justin and I decided to sit at the far back, coffee in hand.

"So what are you doing here in L.A.? I mean, it's Christmas. Shouldn't you have a break?" I questioned to break the awkward silence. I wasn't one to speak a lot, but I definitely don't want to have an awkward session. I took a sip off my piping hot chocolate with whipped cream on top.

Justin leaned back on his chair. "I just felt the need to get away for a while. And I also live here. So I might as well stay here or go back to Canada. Whichever I find best," he answered and took a sip from his coffee.

I nodded my head, taking in his answer. "That sounds great," I told him. "So you'll probably have them come out here or something, right?" I suggested with raised brow. What is with this guy? I can't stop blabbing.

Justin merely nodded in agreement. "So... how about you, Alexis? What are you doing for Christmas?" he questioned, his hand twirling his cup slowly.
