The call...

It been a week since I return home, I still have the stench of the flush of shame in my hair. The basket of froo froo baths was almost empty, it was a "gift" from my mother for returning. I lean back laying my back against the bed, here I exhale loudly. It was nice to relax once again, but it was rather lonely at time. I stare up to the ceiling just thinking of this season....

Just as I close my eyes my phone started to buzz which cause me to move my hands to my pocket and without looking I answer it. "You reach Gwen, what's up?" I said rather quickly.

"Gwen... It's me... Duncan." His voice seem very shaky as he spoke, I could hear crowd talk in the background. "Look I waited to use my one phone call, and you can clearly tell I choose to call you with it. I know I messed up, I have no idea what came over me.... I don't have much time so I have to be straight to the point, I miss you Gwen." His voice starts to clear up as he kept talking, as if he been rehearsing this over and over. "Maybe it's too late, maybe you hate me, but I still wanted to say I want to see you again." He added then he sigh after I kept the phone to my ear without a word to be said. "Gwen.... Are you there?" Duncan voice was back to being shaking once again.

"Yes I'm here." I said with a harsh tone as I slowly get up from my bed to stand up walking to the living room. "Let's say I were to accept this I apologies, what would happen next?" I asked him feeling a bad gut feeling, so I added in. "I wait a year maybe five... Then we are a happy for a few month until you start missing Courtney or mess around with law? That doesn't sound too flattering." I snapped trying not fall into something that I know will end up hurting me again.

"Gwen!" He raised his voice. "I know I fucking messed up big time, but I promise that I won't when I get out... Listen even if you and I don't work out, doesn't mean we can't be friends. Things were perfect between us when we hung out watching horror films, making fun of all the flaws in each scene." I bite my lips and look down. I missed that too but I wasn't gonna go back. "Please.... Don't give up on me like everyone else did...." I shut my eyes and take a deep breath. "Gw-" I cut him off short.

"Fine, I will come see you, BUT this does not mean I'm ever taking you back." I said as I shift my body posture. Then we took the last of the minutes to discuss a day that I could visited and the rules of it. When I hung up I started to look at the cat outside the window. Maybe this was a dumb idea for me.....

I sit down on the couch near the left end before going back onto my phone. I set on the calendar the details I had. Exhaling loudly I lean back and watch whatever my mother had on. From what I saw I assume it's Dr.Phill. I was not a fan of this show because not only are the guest fake but the drama are shown to make the them look crazier then they are. I would tap my feet every so often with my arm cross, shaking my head in disagreement with some of the things he said. After a while I decided I had enough of watching this show so I get up and enter my room. Then I remove the clothing that I had one and slip into my black shirt and a black sweatpants. I walk over to my bed and slowly get under the covers.
