First Day of Classes

The next morning I felt someone throw something at my head as they were trying to get me up. Angelina Johnson, one of my roommates, had been trying to wake me up. "Finally you're like a rock when you sleep. That was the third pillow I had thrown at you." she said with a smile on her lip as she grabs her clothing and goes to the bathroom to change.

    Today is the first day of classes! I quickly jumped out of bed and changed before Angelina came back in and with that I grabbed my robes and books and yelled to Angelina "I'm heading down to breakfast. Thanks for waking me up!"  I jumped down the stairs to see the twins talking to another kid. When they saw me they waved bye to their friend and came over to me with a smile on their faces.

    "Hey Lion." one of the twins said I'm guessing this one is George. Lion, the nickname they have been calling me since I ate an animal cracker. If you eat one it will make you act and sound like a certain animal. Well I ate one and was acting like a lion for what felt like forever. Ever since then George and Fred called me Lion, I guess it fits even more now that I'm also a Gryffindor.

    "Heading down to breakfast already? We-" Fred got cut off by George saying

    "Thought Angelina would never be able to wake you up." They both had a smirk on their faces as we walked down to the great hall. They both knew I don't get up the easiest. I kinda hate the morning. We make our way down the hall when someone picks me up and spins me around. As I'm sat down I look over seeing Cedric with a smile on his face.

"Bloody hell, how are you awake so damn early?" I ask, he just smiles before responding.

    "I love morning, you know this and today is the first day of classes! Have you gotten your time tables yet?" he says looking between the three of us.

    "No we haven't even made it into the Great Hall, but I'm starving so let's get going." i say as i turn and walk into the hall. I walk over to the Gryffindor table before sitting down and eating a waffle. After a few minutes Professor McGonagall gave George, Fred and I our time tables. I look down seeing that I have Transfiguration first with Slytherin, Eww.

    I look to Fred and George who are reading over their time tables. "I have Transfiguration first. What about you two." I say.

    "I have a transfiguration, what about you Freddie?' He looks towards Fred.

    Fred smiles before wrapping his arms around both of us. "Looks like McGonagall is stuck with all three of us." I smile glad to have two friends in the class with me. I look back at my time table today. I have Transfiguration from 9-10am, Herbology 10-11am, a break from 11 to 11:45am for lunch. After lunch I have potions from 11:45am-1:45pm, then another small break from 1:45-2pm. Then I have DADA from 2-4pm and study hall in the great hall from 4-5pm.

    After eating breakfast I walk over to the Hufflepuff table and sit next to Cedric. "So what class do you have first?" I ask.

    He looks down at his paper again before saying "I have DADA then i have Herbology with Gryffindors, I believe I also have potions with you." I'm glad I at least have a few classes with him.

    After talking to Cedric for a while we walk towards our classes. When we split up I ran to Transfiguration to be able to get a seat with the twins hoping that I wouldn't have to sit with someone I don't know. Luckily Angelina and the twins saved me a seat with them at their table.

    When I sit down I don't see McGonagall anywhere. I turned to Fred to ask him where McGonagall was but then the class gasped and pointed towards where a cat had been but was now the professor. "Points to any house that can tell me what I just did and how I was able to transform form into a cat." She asks the class. My hand shoots into the air. McGonagall turns towards me "Ok, Miss Black." she said.

    "Professor you are what's called an animagus which is someone who can shift to an animal and back. However any person that is one has to be registered in the Ministry." I say with a smirk on my face as George looks at me with shock.

    "10 points to Gryffindor. She is correct however today we will be taking notes on how to transform an animal into a cup." she turns toward a chalk board and begins to write.

    By the end of class Fred, George and I were already planning a prank on the Slytherins. After class I make my way down to the green houses where I can see Cedric talking to another HUfflepuff. I run down the hill and jump onto his back causing him to drop all of his books. The Hufflepuff next to him starts to laugh at him as he lets out a small squeal when I jumped onto him.

    "Vic, get off of me, we need to get to class and I need my books" he says trying not to laugh. I hop off of his back and grab his books handing them to him.

    "Do we really have to go to Herbology?" I say knowing that he's going to say that we have to go.

"We are not skipping class on the first day of school, Vic, not happening." he says a smile spreading across his face. We continued to walk towards the green house and as we walked in the professor was already talking about what we would be learning this term.  After that class I doubt I'm gonna be a fan of Herbology, but i guess it's ok with Cedric in it.

After Herbology I had lunch with the twins and then potions with the twins and Cedric. This was going to be interesting. Man was I wrong, potions was not interesting, it was boring and i barely did a thing and Professor Snape would take points from Gryffindor it was completely unfair. So now during DADA with Professor Quirell, George, Fred and I were planning a prank for Snape. I want to dye his hair and robes pink but the twins say that, that's too kind for him.

At dinner I told the twins more about the map and we made our plan to prank Snape. We could use the map to make sure he was not in his classroom and then we could prank his class and mess with his cauldron. We just had to not get caught by Filch or Snape. Easy right?
