Forbidden Forest and Secret Tunnels

We have been back at Hogwarts for almost a month now. I've been spending alot of time with Cedric. Like tonight I'm meeting up with him after curfew at the kitchens. I'm wanting to show him some tunnels around the school.

After dinner I went back to the common room. Angie and I got ready for bed. Around 11 I got back out of bed and got dressed. I grabbed the map from my trunk and made my way down to the kitchens. As I made it down to the kitchen I tickled the pear in the painting. The painting opened and inside was Cedric talking to some house elf.

"Hey Ced. You ready?" I ask

I see him jump, he turns around with a smile. "Bloody hell you scared me." He says. As we left the kitchen, I showed him the map. As we got near to a passage I hear Cedric say "if we get detention I'm going to kill you." I laugh but his hand flies over my mouth. I hear him say shush behind me.

I walk down the hall ways making sure to keep checking the map to see if teachers where coming. After getting infront of an old clock I slide it over pushing Cedric in and then I climb in. Pulling out my wand and moving the clock back to it's spot. I turn to see Cedric staring at me. "Where the hell are we Vicky?"

"Well Ced we are in one of the many secret passages inside of Hogwarts. And with this map" I lift up the map to show him "i can see every passage way and see everyone and what there doing." At that Cedric reaches for the map. I pull back but show him the map.

"Is that Dumbledore?" He asks

"Yes. He tends to just walk back and worth in his office alot." I say as a smile breaks across my face.

"I've never traveled this passage so I thought me and you could explore it together." I say. He looks down the dark passage way before he pulls out his wand.

"Lumos" he waves his hand telling me to follow him.

We walk for what felt like forever. After we reached the end of the passage way there was a staircase. Cedric seemed to hesitate as I opened the door at the top. Cedric quickly followed me up.

After a quick look around I see Cedric go pale. "are we in the Forbidden Forest! I swear to Helga Hufflepuff if you brought me out here on purpose!" He stops as we hear a branch break. We both freeze. I push Cedric back down the stairscase. I grab the door slamming it shut behind us.

"Ced, I would never purposely take you to the Forbidden Forest. If I were to take anyone it would be Fred and George." I say as I lean against the wall. Cedric sighs in relief.

"What do you think was out there?"

"Could have been anything. One thing for sure is I'm not going back out there." I say as I lean my head on his should. "hey Ced?" I ask.

"Yeah Vicky?"

"Can we go back to the kitchens I'm starving." I say.

"Vicky your always hungry." He says with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah whatever. I'm still hungry so let's go." I grab his arm and pull him back down the passageway. I stop at the clock pulling out the map. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." From the corner of my eye I see Cedric giving me a weird look. I look on the map no teachers from here to the kitchen. I pull out my wand and move the clock and then move it back to hide the passage way. I grab Cedric's hand and we run back to the kitchen. As I tickle the pear we go inside. Once inside the kitchen I pull the map back out and point my wand at it "Mischief Managed." I say. The house elf's bring us some food. Cedric and I just sat there and talked. After a while I started to fall asleep on the table.

I woke up in a place I've never seen before I look around and see Cedric asleep in a chair next to me. I start to see other students walking around the room. All there robes are Hufflepuff. Am I in the Hufflepuff common room? What happened after I fell asleep. I kick Cedric and he just falls of the chair and shots up like hes wide awake. "Ohh hey sleepy head." He rubs the top of my head and I swat his hand away.

"Ced what am I doing in the Hufflepuff common room?" I ask.

"Well you fell asleep in the kitchen and when I tried to wake you up. You wouldn't budge so me and Vance" I'm guessing thats a friend of his "picked you up and brought you back here." He smiles at me before he pulls me off the couch. I look around and start to notice people staring at me.

"Umm Ced I should probably go back to my dorm and get changed for classes." I go to turn but Cedric pulls me into a hug.

"I had a lot of fun last night." He whispers in my ear. I smile at him and thanked him for letting me sleep here. I run up to my dorm and got changed and then went to my classes for the day.

A/N a bit shorter then normal but the last chapter was really long so I thought I would shorten this one.
