Scarlets P.O.V.

It took me some time to process Ross's words, he wants me to kill Lu.

"Ross's I think you're overreacting" I sigh worried "are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just do it" I think about his command.

"I will get Renee back no matter what but I don't plan on killing Lu unless it's necessary" I let my eyes wander around his office.

"Why the hell are you so difficult, do you want me to remind me who you're talking to!" He growls no emotion in his eyes.

I reach behind my back for my gun, Ross beats me to it and with his own gun shoots at the ground beside my feet. "you're one crazy son of a bitch, Ross"

"No, I'm simply not stupid. Why can't you see yourself what you showed me, Lola betrayed me more time than can be counted for and I forgave her but not this time, she tried to kill my girl and she took my group member as hostage she deserves to die" he growls taking a breath "and I'm coming with you to make sure you get the job done"

Tired with the argument and shocked at his outburst, I slouch back down into the chair still holding my gun. I don't know which is scarier the fact that he called Renee a member or his group or the fact that he called me his girl, I frown.

That's it I've come to a conclusion "Ross's you are losing your plot" I make circular motion on my temple to show he's gone crazy.

"Scarlet I am not going crazy, now come on before you get a call saying that they got Renee"

I was about to snap back but froze "Ross how do you know about them?" I more of whisper than say.

"Because I've lost more than one of my men to them" he rubs the back of his neck "there's no way of stopping them, I tried Scar believe me. Once they have someone you will never see them again"

I cover my mouth with my hand "oh god Renee" I choke back tears getting up to leave.

"Exactly get changed, you're on a job now" I nod, my back to him.

I go to Kenzie's room and pick up a black thank top and jeans slipping into them.

I meet Ross and John downstairs, John is our hacker. Suddenly Ross speaks up "okay we've got her lets go"

John gives me a sympathetic glance before I leave out the door.

Ross's P.O.V.

We arrived at the house, Scar was dead silent the whole way. I jump out of the car and hand Scar a handgun with a silencer.

I unlock the door quietly and sneak in, my own gun in hand. Scarlet at my heel.

We find Lola packing in one of the bedrooms. "leaving so soon?" I ask making her jump out of her skin.

She slowly turns around. Scar was already pointing the gun directly at her forehead "where's Renee?" She said, but her soft voice was gone. all emotion gone.

"D-down stairs in the basement"

I'm about to leave when Scar's deadly cold voice stops me "wait, you wanted this. now you're gonna stay and watch"

I freeze to my spot, hiding my emotions towards Lola. I don't say a word but just stare at Scarlet. people say that if you pay enough attention to detail time begins to slow.
