Mission 28 : Stuart and me ?!?! (Part two)

I jump with fear as my reflexes kick in and I twist the hand 90. Degrees .

A breath of relief escapes my mouth as I realise who it is.

"Stuart what the fuck" I growl "I could've put a bullet in your head you wanker" I let him go and stand back, I look him up and down. his eyes glazed over and red, he's not standing he's slouching.

"Sorry" he slurs

"Are you doped up?" I groan, turning around to look for Ross.

"Nooo, what, makes makes say that" he repeats words then starts giggling.

I face palm myself gently and grab him by the arm leading him to one of the benches in the zoo. I try to sit him down, but he moves awkwardly and I end up on his lap. he pulls me extremely close resting his head on my neck "I missed you" his lips plaster to my cheek, his arms tightening around me until he makes a whimper.

I jump off his lap as he makes a pained expression holding his stomach.

"what happened to you?"

"Father that's what happened" he laughs "you know I was a bit jealous of you when we met as kids"

I roll my eyes "Stu there was nothing to be jealous of" I pat his back as he puts his head in his hands.

"I'm sorry" he murmurs, I stand up and he grabs my hand "please don't go"

I nod taking out my phone and texting Ross to meet up with us.

"Look Stuart tell me what happened and I'll see if I can help"

He leans his head on my shoulder, I groan, one I hate drugs and two I hate pussies.

"I'm came home yesterday with Cat and he kicked her out then he started to beat me" he slurs hiccuping at the end, and I can't make out anymore wether he's high or drunk.

"An-" I try to ask but he lifts his top and the perfect skin I saw yesterday was fully purple and sick green shade. I furrow my eyebrows and Ross decides to show up with Renee.

"What happened to you man" Ross asks and Stuart gives a shaky laugh.

"Got into a bad fight" I run my hand over my forehead with anger.

I take Renee into my arms and turn to Ross "help him walk we're going back to the hotel" Ross nods throwing one of Stuart's arms over his shoulder.

"Don't carry her" Ross instructs me and I put Renee on the ground taking her hand instead.

"Now what really happened to him?" Ross whispers out in the balcony, we put Stuart to sleep and Renee is minding him. Ross takes a drink from his cup of tea.

"His father is abusive" I sigh taking some of Ross's tea "as far as I remember he is also the one that made sure my mother lost her job" I spit over the edge of the balcony.

"So, what, you kill him?"

"I don't know Ross, I will suggest that to Stuart but I doubt any kid wants his parents dead" I sigh opening to the glass door, Ross takes my arm.

"I'm sorry" he apologises and let's me go. I nod. I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive him but I have to deal with it.

It didn't take Stuart long to wake up sober, he runs his hand through his perfect golden hair "look-" I put my hand up to interrupt him.

"Don't say you're sorry Stu" I hand him a cup of coffee "now about your father, I don't think you really want him dead do you?" I ask quietly.

"No, but I want him to go through all the pain" he shakes his head "and sometimes I do want him dead, he used beat my mother now he's using me as a replacement" I frown.
