parents for a day

Chuuya was walking through the halls of now his new home, the port mafia.

He was 15 years old and he had just joined after leaving the sheep, I'm pretty sure you know what happened and all. He was enjoying the peaceful silence until he saw Mori, Dazai, and a small kid which he didn't know the name of. He had interesting and unique looking eyes. One half of his hair was brown and the other was white. He definitely stood out among them.

"Oh look if it isn't the small chibi chuuya" dazai said in a teasing manner. "Shut the hell up you suicidal maniac" chuuya said now getting annoyed and was about to punch dazai, until his attention went to a certain child he was wondering about before. 

"Who's this Mori?" chuuya asked, now curious about the small child. "Oh he works here with us, he's currently in some hardcore training though because his gift is a little too hard for him to control.. His name is yumeno by the way" Mori answered back. Chuuya was surprised. A kid this young already working for the mafia?!

"Today he has a day off though so I'm just taking him to his room to play" Mori said as he was about to walk away but yumeno pulled away from mori's hand that was holding the small child. "I want ice cream" yumeno said with a pout. "Sorry yumeno but right now I'm too busy so I can't take yo-" Mori was cut off by yumeno having a tantrum and shaking mori's leg (because that's as long as he could reach him)

"I don't care I want ice cream! I want ice cream! I want ice cream! I want ice cream!" yumeno kept going on and on just having a tantrum like little kids usually do. Dazai and Chuuya just stared at mori trying to calm down the now angry child. "Fine ok I'll have chuuya and dazai take you out for ice cream and hang out with you the rest of the day since they have the day off too, just please shut up" Mori said, stress clearly present in his tone and facial expression. 

"Wait what?! There's no damn way I'm taking care of this kid with dazai!" chuuya screamed at mori already retorting. "Yeah sorry boss I would do anything you ask me to, but taking care of a kid with chuuya? That's a no" dazai said, a little more calm about the situation but still mad. "Well too bad, that's an order. Consider it as a mission" mori said, leaving the two older males dumbfounded in the room alone with yumeno. 

"Yay! Let's go right now!" yumeno screamed now happy he got his way. "Ughh y'know what, I don't even care at this point let's just get this over with " chuuya said letting out a sigh and a tired expression.  Dazai let out a sigh aswell "Yeah I guess you're right for once" he said. "What do you mean 'for once' you waste of bandages" chuuya replied back giving dazai a dirty look.

"Let's go Let's go!" yumeno screamed once again getting impatient. "Ok fine let's go" chuuya said grabbing the petite child's small hand as yumeno dragged them to the direction of the ice cream store. When they got there they gave yumeno his half chocolate half vanilla ice cream and the worker asked for the money.

"That'll be 313.97 yen sir" the young girl at the cashier said sticking out her hand for chuuya to hand over the money. Chuuya just stayed standing there looking at dazai, and dazai looking at chuuya. Then they both realized. They didn't bring any money. They both nodded at eachother as they quickly sprinted out of the ice cream store with yumeno, not paying for the ice cream.

They hid in the nearby park that was far away for the girl at the cashier to catch them even if she went running after them. Luckily the park was empty so no one around would suspect anything. "What the hell you mackerel you were supposed to bring money for the ice cream wasn't that obvious!" chuuya now screamed at dazai  while they were panting from running nonstop. 

"You were supposed to pay for it what do you mean!" dazai retorted back at chuuya. "You dumb fuck do you really expect me to fucking pay for this child I thought it was obvious your supposed  to pay all the time" chuuya screamed back. "Why the hell am I supposed to pay that's not fair chibi" dazai said with a fake sad tone and a pout on his face. "ughh just shut the fuck up mackerel" chuuya said letting out a sigh. 

Yumeno just stared at them fighting dumbfoundedly as he was eating his ice cream. When he suddenly said something that took them both by surprise, "You guys fight like a married couple" They both stopped their yelling and slowly turned their heads facing yumeno. "Excuse me?! That's offensive" chuuya said acting like if he wasn't freaking out inside. "Y'know what, the kid's actually kind of right" dazai said smirking at chuuya. 

"Your disgusting you idiot" chuuya said letting out another sigh. "But I'm your idiot~" dazai said back teasingly when suddenly chuuya punched him in the back of his head. "Shut up you waste of bandages" chuuya said, this time looking away from dazai with a slight blush on his face. Chuuya then took care of yumeno while he was now playing in the park. Both dazai and chuuya were acting as parents while taking care of 'their' troublesome child.

Overall, it was a fun day and chuuya and dazai enjoyed it even more because they were there with eachother, but they would never admit it. After yumeno was too tired to play, they decided to head back to the mafia headquarters and call it a day. When they headed back chuuya put yumeno back in his room and put him to sleep, like a parent.

Chuuya then went back to his and dazai's room. They were both getting ready for bed while teasing eachother and fighting as usual.

"You really do act like a parent chuu-ya~"

"Shut your trap asshole, I was just doing my job"

"As a parent" dazai said with a smirk. "Shut up I'm not a parent!" chuuya screamed at dazai throwing him a pillow nearby. "Whatever you say chibi, but your still the cutest wife ever~" dazai said teasingly with a big innocent smile plastered on his face. "THE HELL DID YOU SAY BASTARD" chuuya yelled, sending a death glare to dazai.

and I think you know how that ended...R.I.P dazai osamu, cause of death? chuuya.
