The park

Kid/Child AU! :D

Alsooo...warning- there's a very very very small part of shin soukoku. So if you don't like it, or if you don't ship it, I suggest you skip that part :) other than that your good!

"Chuuyaaa~ lets go play at the park!" the small 6 year old said. "Osamu....NO. I told you I hate the park and any fun stuff like amusement parks, parties, festivals, and parks" chuuya replied back with a straight and annoyed face. "Come on! I promise I'll make it a fun time for you!" dazai said enthusiastically, this time more confident that he will be able to convince chuuya.

Chuuya though, being the stubborn child that he is, still declined dazai's request. "Fine then. If you dooo come to the park with me, I'll reward you with a kiss!" dazai proposed, this time convinced that chuuya would say yes. The small ginger then blushed a bright red, trying to comprehend what the brunette just said.

"W-W-Who the heck said that I-I wanted a k-kiss from you!" he finally managed to let out as he slightly shoved dazai away from him. "Awww so then it's decided! We're going to the park after school!" dazai said with a bright smile, satisfied that he won. 

"Yeah, yeah whatever" chuuya said with a pout as dazai was strangling *cough* *cough* I mean hugging chuuya. Dazai and chuuya always walked home together after school, so today was no different. They were just talking about random stuff, when suddenly, as they were walking, chuuya kept going straight (straight? haha never) whilst dazai turned a right.

"Uhhhh were are you going?! Our houses are over here" chuuya said, acting as if the brunette had just lost his final brain cell or something. "Nuh-uh chuuya, the park remember~!" dazai said smirking at the ginger for forgetting. Chuuya then made a face that said 'oh yeaaaah' and ran to catch up with dazai. The park wasn't too far from their houses so they could easily get back whenever they wanted. Once they got there they came face to face with an unexpected surprise.

Both atsushi and akutagawa were both also there at the park. Atsushi and akutagawa were both kids from dazai and chuuya's class and the two were usually hanging out together, so that was no surprise.  The pair then approached the other two in attempt to get their attention and hopefully all hang out, and play together.

"Atsushi! Akutagawa!" Dazai excitedly yelled, practically jumping on the two young males. "Hey what the hell dazai! Don't just jump on them!" Chuuya yelled at the brunette in attempt to get him off from the poor two kids. Once chuuya successful got dazai under control, Atsushi spoke up,

"Hey dazai-san! What a surprise to see you here, I did not expect a kid like you to want to come to the playground" he said with a soft but kinda awkward smile from the previous events. "Well I just wanted to have fun with my little chuu" dazai happily said ruffling chuuya's hair in the mention of the ginger's name.

"Hey! Don't do that!" Chuuya said, getting dazai's hand away from his hair. "Anyways...how about we all play together!" Dazai proposed, hoping to have fun with all of his friends. "Sure that sounds fun! Aku are you ok with this?" Atsushi asked at the multi-colored haired child, in reassurance of the male's approval.

Akutagawa just nodded in response, as he reached to grab atsushi's hand for comfort. He wasn't very good at socializing nor did he want to socialize, so he decided to talk as little as possible when around people. The only exception though, was atsushi. He's the only one he felt comfortable enough with, to open up to.

"It's decided then! Let's go play at the slide first! Last one there is as short and chuuya!" dazai said, already excitedly running up to the slide games. "Hey! No fair you got a head start! And don't go making fun of my height I'm only 6 you know!" Chuuya angrily said, running after dazai.

"Come on aku let's go" atsushi said with a smile, as he grabbed akutagawa's hand and dragged him along, running after dazai and chuuya. The two pairs of young boys just spent the rest of the afternoon playing and having fun. When finally, the sun started to go down and it was time for them to return to their homes.

"Bye Akutagawa, Atsushi!"

"Bye chuuya and dazai!"

Each of the pairs said their goodbyes and parted ways, both holding eachother's hands on the way. They were about one block away from chuuya and dazai's homes and dazai had been humming a little song he made during their time getting home. When finally dazai broke the silence.

"Today was fun right Chuu!" Dazai turned to look at the small ginger for a response to his question. That was more of a statement actually. "I hate to admit it, but you were right, the park was actually kind of fun"  chuuya replied back trying to sound like his usual annoyed and irritated self. But dazai knew better. He knew the ginger had a lot of fun that afternoon. More then he would ever admit to.

They stopped walking when they arrived at the front of a specific chuuya's house. "Well, we're here dazai. See you tomorr-" chuuya was suddenly cut off as he felt a very soft and delicate pair of lips on his cheek. And it was none other than dazai osamu. When dazai pulled away chuuya just turned and stared at the brunette in bewilderment.

".....W-Wha- EhhHhh!!" chuuya let out a weird type of scream in response to dazai's actions. The shorter was just so surprised, he couldn't even let out proper words. "Calm down chuu-chuu it was just a short kiss on the cheek" dazai said letting out a cute laugh at the ginger's reaction.

"I did tell you I was gonna reward you with a kiss for coming to the playground with me didn't I? Hehe....told you" dazai said, teasing the other young male. "Y-yeah but I didn't think you would actually d-do it" chuuya said with a pout looking down at the ground, a clear red tint present on his cheeks.

"Well anyways, it's getting darker outside so just hurry up and go inside as soon as you can chuu-chuu! I'll see you at school tomorrow! Bye~"  dazai said, pushing chuuya in to the front door of chuuya's house. "Y-yeah, see your tomorrow osamu" chuuya waved at dazai before the each went into their own houses, looking forward to the next day at school.

Heyyy sooo......what's up!

It's your typical author that just can't frequently update haha.... Anyways, I'm so glad I can finally put a chapter out thank the lords (ATUA) fortunately my mental health has been better lately so I finally had the motivation to get out a chapter!

This week though I may not be able to update since exams are coming up and stuff but I have next week off for Christmas break so I'll try and make a short Christmas special oneshot for that!~

also feel free to put some suggestions in the comments because I'm running out of ideas XD so I'll stop my rambling and just end this...
