This oneshot is just a little headcannon I have of the theory of how dazai gave chuuya his choker and why dazai loves his suicide book so much 👀

"Come on chuuya! Open your gift~" dazai enthusiastically said to his little ginger. It was late Christmas and they were both under the Christmas tree. They decided to spend their Christmas by themselves and enjoy it together, even if the both claimed to hate eachother.

"Calm down dazai! I'm opening it, not like it matters, it's probably shit anyways" chuuya replied, expecting dazai's gift to just be another prank like always. There was no way the brunette actually gave him a proper gift this Christmas.

Chuuya slowly opened the gift and to his surprise, there was a small black box. He opened it slowly still not completely sure that the gift was an actual gift. Inside, he found a black choker. It was designed like a small belt, almost like a dog collar but with its own unique touches.

"Do you like it!? It's a mark that your my dog and that I own you" dazai said darkly yet he had an innocent smile on his face. Chuuya didn't want to admit it but he actually liked the choker. Not just because it was cool, but also because it was a gift from dazai. An actual gift from dazai.

"Unfortunately I do like it you big idiot, but only because it's actually good not because it's from you or anything!" Chuuya yelled, being the tsundere that he is. "Whatever you say chibi! Now...Let's get to my present!" dazai said, even though he was already ripping the wrapping paper from the gift chuuya gave him.

"AHHH! Chuuya! How did you know!" dazai yelled with excitement, a hint of sparkle in his eyes. "Well every time we passed by the bookstore you said you wanted that stupid guide to suicide book, so I decided to give it to you..." chuuya responded with a tint of blush on his face.

"I still have one more present...." chuuya said softly. He was super scared and anxious for this "next present". Dazai, curious, just looked at chuuya dumbfounded, waiting for his gift. After a few seconds chuuya finally got the courage, and quickly gave dazai a small kiss on the lips.

It was extremely quick, due to chuuya's nervousness and anxiety, but it was meaningful nonetheless. Dazai, dumbfounded, shocked, and confused, just stared at chuuya for a good 30 seconds before saying,

"T-That was the best Christmas gift ever..."

"........."

"I love you chibi!" the brunette said with a smile, pulling the small ginger into a hug.

Uhhhh Ik this is like 4 days late for Christmas but I had no motivation so I'm barely finishing this today lol.

This Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas and I wasn't exactly having the best day on Christmas Eve nor Christmas so yeah...
