8. Returned

Everyone in the Tavern now had two things to celebrate on this night. Alexis's birthday, and y/n's return home.

Alexis: "I am so happy that you are back Y/n...i missed you so much!"

Alexis said as she sobbed into y/n's arms.

Y/n: "I missed you too Alexis, but i'd like to bring you and your mother outside. I would like to show you two something."

Apollyon and Alexis looked at each other and then back to y/n giving him a thumbs up. Y/n motioned them to follow him and a few minutes later they ended up at the arena where y/n and Alexis first began their training a few years ago.

Y/n drew his sword and pulled off the chain that was wrapped around his waist. He told Alexis and Apollyon to stand back as he took a fighting stance nobody in Ashfield had seen before.

Alexis p.o.v

Y/n stood to the side facing the training dummy with his good eye, and during that he held his sword down with one arm and swung that chain around with his other. I wonder why he even has that? my question was soon answered as he lunged forward and threw it towards the training dummy, y/n waited until it fully wrapped around the dummy and pulled on the chain sending the dummy flying towards him.

As the dummy flew towards Y/n he let go of the chain and started swinging himself around in circles while holding out his sword as if he was a spinning blade. The dummy flew into his sword and was instantly cut in half.

Alexis: "woah! So thats what that chain is for! And what was the strange stance you entered before you did that y/n?" I asked.

Y/n: "During my long journey overseas i met a friendly samurai who was also blind in one eye. He was traveling somewhere on the way to the Tsuyoi clan's palace so he accompanied me and taught me this stance along the way. He called it blind justice, this stance allows me to focus on my target by using all of my senses instead of just my eyes, and i don't remember clearly but, i think his name was Hanzo Hasashi."

Apollyon: "I swear i've heard of that name before...something about a shirai-ryu clan too."

My mother said, tapping her helmet with the claws of her gauntlet.

You: "Well; looks like it is getting late...why don't we go home and rest for tomorrow?"

Apollyon: "Great idea y/n, clean up that dummy you broke and come home with Alexis, i'm going now so please don't get into any trouble!"

My mother waved to us as she turned around and left. I turned around and saw that y/n had already threw the dummy into a pile of more broken dummies in the corner of the room.

You: "Nothing feels better then being back here and seeing you Alexis, i missed you so much and there wasn't one day that went by that I didn't think of you."

Y/n said, as he took my left hand and gave it a kiss. I took my mask off.

Alexis: "I could say the same y/n. Being able to sleep with you by my side once again is the best birthday gift is all i could ever ask for."

I purred,  giving him a kiss on his lips.

You: "This will definitely be the best night of sleep i've had in a while my love, but we really should be heading home now, Apollyon is waiting for us!"

Y/n extended out his hand to me and i took it with mine. I  laid my head on his shoulder as we walked through the cold snowy wind to our home.

(Note: Sorry for the short chapter next one wont be short and boring i promise! I edited this on 1/20/21 so I haven't forgotten about this story i just decided to give it another chance.)
