Emma's POV
Since the rumble, I've been happier with Pony, Dallas, and the gang by my side. Pony and I have been happy together ever since.Dallas and I were at the Curtis house as usual. "Hey Emma lets go" Dal says standing up from the couch. I was confused on where we were going but I went anyways. I gave Pony a peck on the lips, earning teases from the gang.
I followed Dal outside."Where we going?" I ask. He takes out a cigarette. "I don't know" he shrugs "for a walk".
"Okay" I say a little unsure.
We started walking around the neighbourhood and somehow ended up at the train tracks, the train tracks that use to get us up to jay mountain all the time as kids.
"Remember this spot?" He asks, sitting down on the tracks.
"Oh ya...best spot ever" I chuckle. We sat down smoking for a while before I spoke up.
"Hey Dal?" I ask looking down.
He looks at me "ya?" He asks stepping on his cancer stick. I was silent for a second.
I sign "do you ever think about mom?" I ask. He doesn't say anything at first.
"ya" he says quietly.
I look up at him. "Really?" I ask.
He nods slowly "Why do ya think she left us?" He asks.
"I don't know Dal... we were probably better off without her anyways" I lay my head on Dal's shoulder. I swear I saw a tear slip from his eye, the only tear I've seen in a long, and I mean long time.
"I'm sorry Emma" his voice cracks a little.
I look up at him with a puzzled look."For what?" I ask softly. He lets another tear slip. Where is Dallas Winston and what have you done with my brother? I thought to myself.
"For not being there to save you from our father...and for leaving in the first place" he says. I give him a sad smile.
"Dal, I don't blame you for what dad did. I know you were confused and scared when you got arrested at 10 for the first time, I think that fucks someone up" I say. He looks at me. I give him a reassuring smile and tilt my head back on his shoulder.
"I'm glad I'm back home with you now" I say.
"Me to" Dal says, resting his head on mine. The sun was setting already so we continued to watch the sun go down all night. I know what your thinking, Dallas Winston watching a sunset...with his long lost little sister, crazy I know right.
...I realized that Dallas left for the good after all. Dallas left so I could find him later. So I could meet my soul mate, Pony, and so I could meet the best gang I've ever been around. In the time I was with Dallas, I realized that he isn't a bad person, he just needed his little sister back and someone who loves him.
The end~
(Please tell me, was this a good story or nah? Should I do a part 2 book?)
