Emma's POV
Nightmare~
Dal and I are walking in an old ally back in New York, when a cop comes from behind us and hand cuffs Dally. "where are you taking him!?" I ask the officer.

"I'm sorry Emma, I have to go now" Dal cuts in.

"NO! DON'T LEAVE ME AGAIN! Please!" I yell.

"sorry Emm, bye" Dal says. The officer and Dal disappear. I fall to the ground crying with my face in my hands. I look up to see my angry dad standing over my with a belt in his hand and a smug smirk on his face. "This is all your fault! Your no good!" He yells. He starts beating me with the belt, I cry out in pain.

T then hear the faint sound of Dal's voice "Emma" I hear softly.

"EMMA!"
~end of nightmare

I jolt up in a cold sweat while warm tears fall down my face. "Emma? Are you okay!?" Dal asks. I didn't know what to say so I just shake my head.

"Shit. Come her" he says softly and pulls me into a hug. "Are you okay? It sounded like you were crying in pain" Dallas says.

"Just a nightmare" I say quietly.

"Shhh" he comforts me. I pull away and wipe my tears, some how I feel like I'm letting Dal down every time I cry because he told me to stay tough but it doesn't look like that's what I'm doing right now.

"Please don't ever leave me" I wipe my tears.

"I'm never gonna leave you again Emm, I promise" He says. The way he said it, I believe him. I nod.

"So, I want you to meet some people today..the gang" he says.

"Sure..Ya okay, how many people are in this gang?" I ask curious.

"7 guys including me" he states. "Oh, cool" I say. Wow, I'm gonna meet 6 boys today.

"Well you should get ready, we're gonna stop by the dingo for breakfast first" he says walking over to the dresser to pull out some clothes.

"Okay, I guess I'll go get ready" I say walking to the bathroom. I'm still a little shaken up about that dream though.

We drove to the dingo and got a booth inside. I saw a couple boys walk in maybe around Dal's age, they look rich and wear nice clothes. "Hey Dal, who are those people?" I ask knowing there's probably different types of crowds around here, like back in New York there were gangs and people you knew not to mess with.

"Those are socs, there rich and live on the other side of town, try to stay away from them, okay?" Dal says taking a bite of his hash brown.

"Okay. So if there socs.. what are you?" I ask.

"Well, I'm a greaser, greasers are the poor people, my friends are also greasers, I guess that makes you one now to, huh" he smirks.

"Ya I guess" I chuckle.

"Alright, you finished?" He asks taking some money out of his jean pocket. "Yep" I say popping the p.

"Alright let's get outta here, man" he says as he slaps some money down on the table. We both walk out and head back to the red t-bird Dal's friend apparently let him barrow.

We pull up to a small White House, there's also a orange ford parked in front of it as well.

"Aight' we're here" Dal says stepping out of the car. I nod and step out of the car.

We walk up to the front door, and with out knocking, Dal barges ahead in. I thought that was kinda strange. I walk in awkwardly behind him.

"Who's the broad?" I see one guy ask, he has dark hair greased back in thick complicated swirls, and is wearing jeans, along with a jean jacket ripped into a muscle shirt. I hate it when when people call me broad, makes it sound like I'm just an object or something. I see another boy beside him who has the face of a movie star and is very handsome.

"Guys I want you to meet my little sister, Emma"Dal says pulling out a cancer stick. There faces turned in shock and confused. I'm not surprised.

"You have a sister?" Another boys asks. I turn my head to look at him sitting on the arm of an old couch, he's tan with black hair that falls over his eyes a little, to be honest he look a little shy.

"Yep" Dal says lighting the cigarette.

"Wow, she sure is pretty" another one says walking into the living room with a beer in his hand, This guy is wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt and seems like a childish one.

"Don't think about it Mathews" Dal says,
sending him a glare. The boy puts his hands up in defeat.

"Emma, that's Johnny, Two-bit, Soda, and Steve" he says pointing to each one. I give them all a little wave "hey"I say to them all. They all smile.

"So are you guys the same age?" I believe his name is Soda, asked.

"Nope I'm 14" I say. He nods.

"Wow, she's got an accent to" Steve said. I never really noticed my accent, I guess some people can though. I just nod awkwardly.

"Anyone seen my books?" I hear someone say. I see a younger boy walk into the living room, he has brown hair and grayish, green eyes. He was a little taller then me. I wanted to get to know him, he seems kind, and he's quite cute.

"Last I saw them were in the bedroom" Soda says. The younger boy nods then looks at me with a confused look.

"Who's this?" He asks.

"This is my sister" Dal informs.

"Wow, I didn't know you had a sister Dal" the boy says.

"I do" dal says sitting down on the couch.

"And no funny business with her and anybody, got it?" My brother states to all the boys. They all nod, I just roll my eyes. I had one boyfriend back in New York, but he was kinda abusive to me, then one day I found out he was cheating on me so I dumped him.

"I'm Pony by the way" the cute one says.

"I'm Emma" I greet with a slight smile.

"There's also Darry, our older brother, but he won't be home til later" Soda says. I nod.

"Do ya wanna watch tv or something?" Soda asks me. "Sure" I say sitting next to the Mickey Mouse lover on the couch.

~later that night
Dal and I have been chilling at the Curtis house for the whole day, it's been pretty fun we've watched tv, ate chocolate cake, played cards, and Pony seems really nice. Then the door opens to revel a tall muscular guy maybe around 20.

"Hey who's this?" The tall man asks.

"Darry that's Emma, she's Dal's sister" Soda explains.

"Oh, I didn't know ya had a sister Dal. Well I'm Darry it's nice to meet you" he says.

"You to" I say back. I was on the couch next to Dal when I saw Dal quickly put his arm up to stretch, I flinched a little and Dal immediately put his arm down and looked at me with sadness.

"You don't have to be scared anymore Emma, that bastard is never gonna touch your again" Dal said.

"I know" I said. It wasn't that I was scared he'd come back, it's that I was scared of anyone hitting me.
