"well, we're here [y/n]!" killua said with alarming enthusiasm, you looked to see him out the car and opening your door. thanking him, you both went inside the restaurant, "this is a nice place for a meeting." "it is, i've been here once and it was amazing! they had all sorts of sweets and ice cream i just wanted to stay there forever!" laughing at his drooling expression, you nodded and agreed. 

entering through the double glass doors, you waited for killua to spot his friend since you didn't know who he was. out of nowhere his pale hand laced itself around yours and he led you to a table with a blonde girl. 

she got up immediately and shook killua's free hand, then looking at you with a motherly smile. "hello, i'm kurapika kurta. you must be [y/n] [l/n], i've heard a lot about from killua. he wouldn't stop going on and on about you to the point we ignored him for a day!" kuapika laughed as she went on, which was promptly cut by killua covering kurapika's mouth.

"ignore him, he likes to tease." smiling, you looked back to the blond male. "the pleasure's all mine, he spoke all good things of you too! but i'm glad killua here doesn't trash talk behind my back~!" "o-OI I WOULD NEVER!!" "good!"

kurapika looked at the two young adults talking, softly smiling for he was glad one of his 'kids' had now found someone they could have by their side. he knew killua wasn't open to change and that he wasn't willing to let his pride be hurt but now seeing and knowing you, he couldn't help but be proud. you brought out good traits with him.

with gon, killua acted like a kid, though everyone should be allowed to still feel that, you made him into a man. 

he saw killua pull out a chair for you to sit in, then getting himself a seat, removing his jacket and placed it on the back of the chair. he saw you do the same. kurapika seated himself last. "killua told me you're a fan, surprising to hear from a S list celebrity." waving him off, you laughed, "how can i not? you're so impressive that i was swooned over! i respect your job so much, if i ever have kids i'd be grateful they'd be like you in some way!" 

"please, you smoother me too much~." he noticed killua looking at you with a gentle gaze, admiring you for just talking. "do you happen to be in a relationship?" "aha yes i am, you know leorio? well he's in the medical professional, we got married a year or so ago i'd say." grinning widely, "ohmygodthat'samazing! how was the wedding? can i meet him? he sounds cool?" the two men chuckled at your behavior, kurpika stated that if he was free then the possibility may rise. 

killua was glad that his parental figure was getting along with his new friend. he hoped leorio would too and so would gon. leaning on one hand, he gazed at you, you then turned to look at him with a big smile, "kil' thanks for this!" "don't worry, think of this as meeting my family, one day i'll meet yours~." "oh yeah, i did tell them about you, they said they wanna meet you as much as you do!" surprised in hearing this, he sat upright, "really?" "yeah, wait-, now look who has the low self esteem~?" letting his posture drop, he waved you off, "no one, i'm just surprised you talk about me to your friends~." "well of couse, we're friends so i gotta brag about you!" 

blushing, he looked away with a ghost smile. kurapika chuckled at the two, "you guys warm my heart." "that's good, but thank you for meeting us, i'm just so giddy right now cuz of this :DD!!" he sighed, "as much as i'd love to chat more, i have to get going. they're assigning me a new post." "o- oh. well i hope we didn't bother you at all, and i wish you best of luck." "that'll be appreciated, and you were no bother, a friend of killua is sure to have my attention~." "you're too much old man." 

you gently back handed killua's shoulder and waved to the exiting blond. "what was that for!?" "for saying that! he works in a dangerous environment, what if that was your last words to him?" "he'd know i'm joking." "killua." "fine fine i'll message him a goodbye. there happy?" "very!" 

laughing at you, he flicked your forehead. why did you make want to be a better man? with gon, he could whatever he felt like, though he had to look after the dumb green- he still felt like he could do no wrong. but with you, he felt as if there was a path to immaturity and adulthood. he felt as if he had an impact and that he could show the world he was something but with maturity and grace. he smiled, you truly brought out something good in him, "you're a good friend." he said without realizing it.

you looked at the albino, chuckling, "you think so? thanks, you're not so bad yourself~." laughing with you, he looked outside and thought of a plan.

"since the day is still young and i'm not busy until tomorrow, wanna go to a park?" "wait- those kiddy ones?" "yeah, since you want kids in the future might as well know how their parks work." "kil' i was a kid too once, i know how playgrounds work." "nono trust me, this park is fun." 

little did you know, his park meant amusement park. that prick.
